S.W.A.T.
« on: June 03, 2008, 00:49:52 am »
S.W.A.T. is now operational.

We should ONLY be called for serious operations and S.W.A.T. members have the judgement call as to whether they should respond based on guidelines we have.

If we called for too many 'minor' things we will eventually refuse call outs and work on our OWN judgement from start, think about it, it costs for S.W.A.T. to operate and we must be able to justify this effective response.

DO NOT expect S.W.A.T. to arrive on scene instantly...

It takes a little time for us to group and get equipped suitably..  We will however endevour to arrive as quick as possible in one form or another.

In this time SAPD/FBI can try to secure the scene for S.W.A.T. to arrive, and you may even be fortunate to have a S.W.A.T. team member present from start who will run co-ordination until the main team arrives.

You might even get asked to assist S.W.A.T. durectly when we have low numbers on duty, consider this an honor and help in anyway possible.  (dont ask S.W.A.T. they may ask you)

S.W.A.T. Commander
C B Fasi

S.W.A.T. entry is by invite ONLY, do a very very good job and you might get recommended (you will not know this) and then invited.

lets hope we will get those big cases for SWAT then,

but the expensive price who gonna pay for that, can SWAT members just choose SWAT clothes and also get the weapons?

ah well, it will be an honor if i will ever be called to help them if they are outnumberd,

and even more honor when i can ever join them

S.W.A.T. has had a number of good donations which means we have a reasonably good budget for the moment, and it has accountable accounts.

S.W.A.T. members also get refunded certain costs when on opertional duty.

We do also do special prior notice duties where we are paid a fee for that presence, these have to arranged and agreed in advance.

There is no way what so ever to create an application to join the Special Weapons And Tactics, should we consider anyone for SWAT, we will contact you by invitation, not by request, do the best you can do in the ARPD and you may just get yourself noticed, SWAT only accepts the best there is to offer due to the intense situations and training that SWAT undergoes.

Understood. I will be working with other units as in teams. If there's someone in SWAT who would like to keep an eye on me when im working, to rate my skills, contact me.

Thanks for the quick answer James.

No problem, and we keep an eye on everyone, so don't worry about that - helps if you use teamspeak.

Makes no difference. Im still the same cop wether im being watched or not :)
I just thought it would be easier to watch me when i'd be in a same car / team with one of the spectators.
But its all good. Thanks..
