I am not going to discuss the state SWAT was and is in, because that will end wrong and and spoil the whole topic, but I will say the following :

The purpose of roleplay organisations like SWAT, should never be to focus on the goal. It's all about the execution and how it's done. The whole idea is to roleplay. Every group with weapons can kill a few suspects and neutralize kidnapping, but it's all about how you do it. The whole idea of roleplay, Argonath and communities in general, is to play together, and that happens during the roleplay. A kidnap, for example, can end in the same, yet different way.

1. The hostage was neutralized and the suspects were killed. The criminal roleplayers are not happy with the outcome, but nonetheless, enjoyed the roleplay and effort that was put inside of it by both parties. Suspects enjoyed it and the SAPD enjoyed it.

2. The hostage was neutralized and the suspects were killed. The criminal roleplayers are not happy with the way it went, getting shot at almost immediatly without any proper communication whatsoever. Their roleplay goal was blown to pieces, and so was their time and good mood. The SAPD members are happy with the roleplay outcome, but are also slightly annoyed by the suspects' reaction through mainchat, for example.

The first one is what we should('ve) be(en) aiming for, and it requires cooperation from both parties. However, the SAPD plays the main role, and ultimately decided how it ends. The above is just an example, but it is very close to reality, and one will be able to puzzle out for himself, why these changes have been made, and what's going to happen..

SAPD Was good before this changes, i want to see now, who will chatch the criminals, with no SAPD team, hard working guys who resigned...

Again with the narcissistic comments. You (the people who decided to resign) were not, and never will be, the entire organization.

Cane, stop with this comments, you're pissing me of.
I dont see you work on the field, you're like those people who get dark blue name and sit all the day talking in main chat.

Jaaskaa did have a very good purpose for what is happening to you all and what is to come. He has a plan and he will put it to the test. None of you should be "OMG I WAS FIREDDD FOR NO REASON!!! DAFUQ IS DIS SH*T??!?". You all knew what was going to happen to you sooner or later. It was just a matter of time. Those that have been demoted/fired, Jaaskaa is just seeing the week and the strong. Those who removed obviously had no good reason to be in SWAT/SAPD. Those who were demoted, he just wanted to weed out the strong and the weak. For those who resigned, you are now the weak. You are not loyal, you do not stand by your fellow teammates. Those who are strong, and who did not resign; I bid you good luck for now and into the future. Jaaskaa has some very nice things to come along. But before it will get pretty, it will get ugly. Very ugly. This was only a scratch on the surface on what he is going to do/will do. I am disappointed in some of you that you resigned. Such a pity. But some of you that did resign, I'm telling truth, I sure am glad you did so. End word; Expect more to come, he didn't do this for nothing, he did this for the better.

Regards,
Leroy Kolta

When will the official announcement come to public Ronnel?
When the situation is clear. Perhaps some officers here will start using their big head soon as well.

Lol, Jaaska is really doing great improvements, I'm sure he is,  and he's making SAPD and SWAT better and better by promoting the chief of LU "Jenn Kolta" to SAPD Officer, and to SWAT! I never saw Jenn IG! I never saw Jenn doing any police work in SAMP! How does a non experience person get SAPD officer rank without EVEN applying for SAPD and without EVEN being accepted as SAPD Cadet? Look with your own eyes, go to the SAPD member list if you think I'm lying, Jenn kolta SAPD Officer and SWAT.

Yeaaaa, those "promotions" u guys call are really fair. What's the difference between a person who applys for SAPD and after waiting several months to get even accepted as cadet and then works his ass off and then gets accepted as SAPD officer, and with a person who didn't even apply to SAPD, and isn't even there IG, and gets automatically promoted to SAPD Officer and gets SWAT?
Ok, no offense intended but everything in this post is bullshit.

"Everything" ? Oh please Mr.Perfect, tell us why Jenn Kolta has the SAPD Officer rank and SWAT rank?
Ok, i'll take that as a compliment, thank you.

Useless comments apart, the command must have foreseen better changes from her side in SAPD with that rank.

What is your non sense? Are you blind? Do you think a non experience person who isn't IG, and who got promoted to SAPD Officer right away and SWAT is fair? Woww are you brain washed or something? Dudeee, SWAT is about an elite and professional team, how does a person who is new to SAMP gets SAPD Officer and SWAT rank?

Ofcourse you don't have common sense, I just knew that you're sabreman, so please don't force me to say stuff that I would not like you to see. It's shocking that you come against me after what everything I did for you.

The funny thing is....

Previous SAPD Officers who resign because they want to become ARPD Officers still work under Jaaskaa as he's an ARPD Commisioner.
You create new groups are you still working under Jaaskaas' lead, either if you like it or not.

By resigning are you only damaging your self, Jaaskaa still have the decision about you as an ARPD Commisioner.

Epic fail is an epic fail..

EDIT: I saw that Ronnel was before me...

Good, so we'll get perm copbanned for working as ARPD Officers ?
That's a question I'm unable to answer due to my position.
But I guess if you start to work against Jaaskaa and the ARPD do I think that's an option, yes.

Reconsider your resignations before it's too late, you're doing this in anger and without thinking. How about to give it some time?

Lets also make clear that one of the changes that SAPD command was not happy about is that new appointments of command  staff will have to be approved by the ARPD Commissioner.
Jaaskaa has a pretty good memory, which means that resigining in anger now may bite you in the ass later.

And Jaaskaa has big goddamn teeth.

On another note, this mass resignation proves that you guys did not want to work for the SAPD, you were working for your badge.

I do hope that none of you are considered for public services ingame again, and if this attitude is translated from real life, which it MUST be, then I hope you never become part of the public services in real life either.

Excuse me, but who are you? I've been in this server for YEARS. I have MUCH MORE previous experience than a LOT of people could think of. I have been in SAPD before as a Sergeant. If I had no experience, would I have been a previous VCPD Chief, and current LCPD Chief? No, I would not. I did apply to SAPD again, I was accepted as a Cadet. I was offered the chance to apply for reinstatement, but I went on to go to the Academy. Please do not post bullshit about me or my positions.

Well for as far as SWAT goes... I do not think that this was a smart move, the SWAT team there was had a great performance. They knew a ton of tactics, worked together like a real team (I've patrolled several times with them, it's shocking how well they cooperated compared to most SAPD Officers...) and did their job. They had rules and they followed them, like in real life.

What will happen now is that they have complete freedom of what cars to use, what weapons to use and no rules about when to shoot or whatsoever. So for the criminals, instead of thinking this is a good decision for you, it's actually going to be a LOT harder for you now :)

Jenn, personally I totally agree with the fact that you are an excellent choice due to your high levels of experience, both in the SAPD, and the fact you are linked to many servers.

My only slight worry is that you must have no time to go out in real life, since you have so many responsibilities on here  :devroll:

First of all, I'm George , and second of all, I don't care if you were past Sergeant or your ranks you have right now. I didn't see you active IG, and if you want to get in SWAT you must work hard for it, but its really strange that a newly accepted SAPD officer is SWAT directly, shouldn't you stay more active IG and to prove yourself worth SWAT member?

Lol.

Anyways, I will stop posting now, I'm tired of this.

SWAT are meant to be normal officers who meet up occasionally when called, in Argonath anyway.

They were not meant to patrol in buffaloes and chase suspects, and various comments I have seen suggest that yes, they kept to their own rules, because they practically had none.
