Current changes discussion
« on: March 11, 2012, 13:25:53 pm »
Due to some changes implemented by the Argonath Government authorities some experienced officers decided to leave.
There was a huge discussion at online chat today, and I know this topic is important for the SAPD members.

I have heard about some planned changes and those, which I heard of, were quite interesting. However, I do feel worried about the way of implementing changes. The informational policy should be clear in such cases. Those changes that have already been implemented, should be announced clearly.

I want you to remember, that SWAT is not everything, and you should not leave the force because of those changes. That's why I ask you guys to reconsider and perhaps discuss your issues with the particular authorities...

Wise words.

SAPD members should priorize roleplay and attempt to discuss when a situation happen. Coming with weapon drawn and aiming at everyone won't be tolerated.

Didn't leave only beacuse of SWAT.
I got demoted from Sergeant to Officer when I'm active more then the whole command staff, working hard and shit and then getting demoted for no reason.

The fact is : Ben got FIRED FROM SAPD for no obvious reason, then I had to ask people to find out I was also fired from SWAT and demoted to Officer without even knowing why. They fired 11 people from SWAT without telling them why. I don't like to be treated like shit, I worked hard for SAPD and they just throw you away like you are nothing for them. No thanks.

That is what I meant, speaking about the informational policy.
Those changes haven't been implemented perfectly but only those who make nothing make no mistakes. The biggest fault here is that the changes haven't been announced and clearly explained to public.

Believe it or not, time will show everything.
Just give it to yourself and to the authorities.

Or maybe you could had at least waited to hear the official announcement instead of just quitting. No ARPD Commissioner or President would be dumb enough to make so many demotions and dismissing many SWAT members for no reason.

None informed me, as my transfer request said "Dependance on activity" and that doesn't explain why we were discharges frop SWAT.

Hmm no, It's pretty obvious how the changes have been made. SWAT Cadet being promoted to Team Leader, SAPD Cadet going to Lt and SWAT Cmder, when you spent months of hard working and you are throw away like shit, I don't want to waste my time anymore for nothing.

Yes that is right, but do you really think Jaaskaa and Gandalf are that dumb to just do those actions for no reason? Clearly they had foreseen a lot of members resigning, but they also would had foreseen a better and bright future for SAPD for that cause. You already know what you are doing is immature and inappropriate. Just calm down and try to withdraw your resignations while you have your chance.

f**king finally.

Stop being such a narcissist; your accomplishments are in no way comparable to those of Jaaskaa's. And before you (or your colleagues) decide to call me an 'ass-licker', take a look at what he's done in his career. You're pathetic.

The loyal stay.
The non loyal leave.

The strong stay.
The weak leave.

The ones willing to enhance change stay.
The ones who complain without knowing what happened leave without explanation.

Change is happening, only the loyal and strong will succeed.

Jones, the other way of looking at it is that a lot of people have just received a slap in the face from the ARPD Commissioner, and want to prove a point.
Perhaps you don't realise this, but it makes you feel bloody shamed when you are fired or "demoted".
