It took a lot of pondering before finally deciding to post this...it took so long to get to this position, that I was reluctant to drag myself away from it.

There is various reasons for my resignation, one of which being that I do not enjoy it. I also don't think I owe the SAPD any more...I've worked alongside lots of people, and fought for lots of changes...ending well, and sometimes badly.

Recently, I was involved in a...heated discussion...with an SAPD Lt. I was told that I would lose my rank if I was found to be guilty of lying, and of what I was accused. My rank has not been taken, so I must assume I was cleared. However, seeing as the other person was not punished either, maybe it was just forgotten.

There has also been things happening that I don't agree with, and I don't see the point of fighting anymore! We're all here to relax, right? Anyway...the person I looked up the most posted his resignation too (Paul) although I hope he comes back to the SAPD...he's honest and uses common sense. I fear I wouldn't last long without him in the SAPD anyway!

Moving on...
I've had a good few years, and my 2nd anniversary of being an SAPD Officer would have been this July (hooray!). One fella once told me he would resign when I did...I'm telling him to only resign if he wants to, not because of me!

There's certain things about the SAPD I don't like, and do think that they restrict fun. I chose to stay this long because I thought I should, not because it was the best thing around.
Having said that, there has been lots of good times!

Sorry for leaving you alone Gibson...and sorry for the past few days of inactivity, I was in Wales.

I might return in the future, but maybe not.

  Can someone PLEASE promote Gibson? I can certainly vouch for his work...I'd say the same for StatuZ and Monkey, but I've worked with Gibson the most, so I know all that he has done...he does an awful lot of work, and he deserves to move to a rank which actually fits in with him being a PD leader.
I guess that is my parting wish...

I had problems with the way someone was acting, but it's just one of a string of reasons I chose to leave...one of them being that I do not know what my apprenticeship (starting in July) will bring, so don't want to risk being totally inactive as a PD leader!
Caught the "Sergeant" bit there just in time! Was gonna have to beat you with one of my whiskey bottles...see you around when I'm on light blue duty maybe!
