[Lost Interest] LCPD Application: Didrik
« on: October 31, 2012, 16:50:15 pm »

Application of Didrik

1. In-game nickname and RP name: IG: Didrik; RP name: Didrik Fossum

2. Former names: Didrik

3. RL-Age and In-game Age: Real life age: 16 (23.01.1996) In-game age: 23

4. How long have you been playing on Argonath RPG?: I´ve been a member of SAMP since April 2008. My account made on a unknown date in 2011 is now gone because I had to reset the account "Didrik" due to inactivity. The only proof I got that I played in 2011 is a law suggestion posted in 2011 about transport

5. Do you posses an US of Argonath passport and a driver's license?: Yes, I posses both an US of Argonath passport and a driver´s license.

6. Do you have any previous experience as an officer? If "yes", where?: Yes. Not only have I been a Senior Officer in the country of San Andreas back in 09 where I was awarded the Officer of the Month, December 2009. But I have also been a Special Agent of FBI, also in San Andreas.

7. Are you currently part of any other law enforcement group or department in Argonath?: No I am not.

8. Do you understand the Police Laws and Procedures?: Yes, I do.

9. Have you been denied or resigned before? If "yes", why?: I have never written an application for the division of LCPD before.

10. Why do you want to join the LCPD?: Not only do I think I am able to serve the community well, but I also believe I am able to contribute and help the LCPD community grow as the city takes on more citizens then ever. I simply feel that I really fit to serve the law well and I also do think that I will be able to have a great career within the LCPD/ARPD law system as I have a lot of former experience in other divisions.

Didrik

Thank you so very much Senior Officer Latch. I have recently been working quite a lot. But due to the reasons that Liberty City's number of
citizens is still quite so low there have not been so much trouble in the streets and an patrol report will then be pictures of me
eating donut. When I get able to experience crime in this beautiful city I would defently make a report on it, but for now I am happy
theres few gangs, and even less shoot outs. As long as the city is safe, I am not complaining.

Kind regards,
Didrik

Your daily activity should not necessarily be full of arrests in order to report it here since you probably well know the current crime rate at LC.

I am well aware of the current crime rate at Liberty City and have therefor made a conclusion
that I would rater gather up some activity to make a more completed patrolreport. I mean, why
bother making just a piece of the cake, when you can make the whole cake at once?

A career is defently what I am looking for and I want to offer my skills and my overall competence
to the fullest. I therefor believe that a completed form would be the best to show exactly this.

But I would have no problem to give a few daily patrol report that includes the few situations I am
taking a part of if that is what you, Chief MacHawk, believe would help my current application
the most!

Again, Kind Regards,
Didrik.

Date:
04.11.2012

Suspects killed and/or apprehended:
Pudo - Killed
Crime - Death of [R*]Tai
Downed/Killed by Cheif Hawk

Suspect was fleeing, drove fast and without following any rules and limitations nor did he want to surrender or give up. So the suspect
were shot and killed.

Traffic stops conducted:
No traffic stops were conducted throughout my patrol

Patrol time:
About an hour. During the pursuit I sat in the same vehicle as Marcel for a few minutes.

Incidents:
There were no incidents that happen't during the patrol and pursuit. I kept a fair distance to the suspect, keeping both
him, myself and other safe.

Conclusion:
A long, hard pursuit that resulted in a death. Would otherwise liked seeing him go to jail. But atleast we did our job. Good work
by everyone who participated in the pursuit.

Hello Didrik, how is it going? More than a week passed since the last report, that's not enough.

Good day Kerbe! I am doing very good. I am visiting the forum everyday, aswell as the server. But I do not have time to
stay on for hours waiting for players to join the server. Usually when I am on-duty theres only quite a few online, maybe
just one or two and nothing is really going on.
I could of course make patrol reports, but it will include about nothing. I will, of course, try to gather some pictures and
information when I am able to. But I dont feel like writing a report which is completely useless.

It's not useless. It shows that you are active and you are interested in your application. So if you don't feel like filling a report out, you mind as well just withdraw if you keep up with that attitude (in my opinion).

With all due respect, Chief. I don't think I am keeping an attitude here. But I don't believe a report where I had a pursuit after
a way faster car then my cruiser for 7 minutes that ended up in him crashing and not coming back. Or another player
who simply just left when I tried to pull him is what I wanna show as an example of my work. I rather
wait of the weekend to play during the servers peak.
I believe that the quality I offer should not only please you guys, but should also give me a good feeling that; Hey, man.
you actually gave a good report and have a fairly good result that ended the situation or is good for further investigation.

-BUT, please. If this is simply wrong with you guys. I will head straight to my fraps folder, gather the photos I have from
some of these days and make a report on people leaving, and/or crashing.

Welcome to LC! We aren't populated as other Argonath cities so that you can post a report with all the Hollywood-like action you are awaiting to get involved into. This is the reality of our server, at this level. So if you wish to wait for those 'quality reports' as you name them you are going to wait for a long time, which of course won't result good. We are not forcing you to post reports like 'Meh, I was online today. That's it.' but to indicate us that you spent time in patrolling regardless that you didn't encounter in a spectacular shootout or a chase.

Regards,

Chief MacHawk

Hey again Chief. I have for a long time ago accepted the fact that there is not always somewhat Hollywood-like action as you describe it
at the server. I just want to know if you guys wanna see short, somewhat useless and unfilled reports, I have no problem to do that.
I got lots of pictures of the cruiser and me calling in 10-8 on a empty radio.

I just want to offer my best, and nothing more.

I have decieded that I will post a small report showing my activity the recent days. Not anything special, like I pointed out in
the previous posts. But I quess it's kinda important anyway. So here it goes.

Date:
Day one: 12. Nov. 2012
Day two: 13. Nov. 2012
Day three: 15. Nov. 2012
Day four: 16. Nov. 2012

Suspects killed and/or apprehended:
I did not at any point apprehend and/or killed a suspect. I will describe the situation further below.

Traffic stops conducted:
Between these four days I did on avarage one traffic stops a day. I did not fine anyone
due to the reason that it was mainly low lawbreaks, also based on the reason that I have
not any recorded pre-history with these people and there left them all with warning to behave.

Patrol time:
Day one: Somewhere in the early afternoon.
Day two: A clock range from between four o' clock to about five-six o' clock
Day three: Late evening
Day four: Early afternoon

Incidents:
I had none incidents during my patroll. But my police cruiser went out of service during a high speed pursuit at Day two. The
situation will be described better with pictures below.

Conclusion:
This week has not been very troubeling. Only stumbled up on one scene which was
somewhat dramatic, but didn't really ended in a satisfying resault. I didn't learn
much this week.
I have had a second thought after a longer discussion with higher ranks police force members
that a small report here, and other one there is clever to show my police activity. And
I have concluded that this is the best for my futher career.

Signed,
Didrik

DAY TWO:

Picture one: Suspect found a high speed vehicle and I had to use dramatic force to keep him from driving away and fleeing. There
were no civilians near and I concluded that it was both safe, and clever to do.

Picture two: Police cruiser was put out of use and I choose to follow the LCPD procedures to find a new car. Marked with BOLD.
Quote
10. LCPD operative is allowed to use his own/state/other vehicle while on duty:

A. In tend and critical situations when there is not other duty vehicle.
B. When duty vehicle is destroyed or empty fuel. (10-5)

C. When there is not other duty vehicle near the operative. (Until he finds one)
D. When the operative is in rush for a crime scene.
E. When suspect's vehicle is faster than duty ones. (eg. chases)
F. In tasks/missions when the state/owned vehicle has advantages over duty vehicle. (In some situations)
G. On standby at police department. When there is/are potential car chase/s activity.
H. For undercover purposes (Sen. Officer +)

Picture three: I managed to stop and get a hold of the suspect. But I had no respons and a few minutes he left.

How's it going in the streets?

I'm doing quite alright. The streets are quiet, so I am doing some patrolling from time to time.
Not much to report on at the moment, but a patroll-report is comming up, so expect it.

Still very eager to get going with my career and work hard to reach the top!

Thanks for asking Kerbe!

Date:
Day one: 17. Nov. 2012
Day two: 20. Nov. 2012
Day three: 22. Nov. 2012
Day four: 23. Nov. 2012

I choose these days due to the time I spent during the patrol. I am online everyday, but often just for a few minutes or a hour because of
low server activity.

Suspects killed and/or apprehended:
I did not at any point apprehend and/or killed a suspect. I will describe the situation further below.

Traffic stops conducted:
I still keeps an avarage on one traffic stop each day, but lately it accured to me that
many citizens often attempt to drive away from me due to the reason that they got way better
performance vehicles than I am able to get to, and it often turns out hopeless even though I try
quite hard. Look at conclusion for more information about this.

Patrol time:
Day one: About noon, not much acitivty.
Day two: About 18:00-19:00 CET
Day three: Ranging from about two o'clock to three-four o'clock
Day four: Late friday. From about six o'clock to eight or nine o'clock

Times are gathered from my fraps pictures (Date and time)

Incidents:
No incidents accured during my patrol.

Conclusion:
I am going to work when I am able to, as soon as my time is says so, a plan or/and a suggestion to hand over about more
powerful police cars that have restricted use, based on the fact that people are getting richer in this big state and
there will only accure more higher, and better performance cars in the streets. It can often be quite so hard to be able to
overpass and eliminate their chance to flee.

Signed,
Didrik

DAY 3:
Nothing really happent that day so I took my camera out to the bay and took some pictures.

Day 4:
Tried to pull over a higher performance vehicle than my own. Lost him in a cloud of wheelsmoke and when I finally got to him, he crashed and/or just left.
