Public's ideas and suggestions
« on: July 16, 2015, 18:05:00 pm »
Alright, well we've executed quite few ideas until now and now its time to face the harash opinion of the public.
Therefore I am opening this topic here for any player on the SA:MP server to be capable to post his opinions, ideas and suggestions.

I have only one warning and request, keep it professional and keep it constructive, in order to make sure you understand what I mean, I will give you an example:
- When you only complain about something, but present no real suggestion or solution = Moaning.
- When you present a complain and then add your opinion as to why it happened and how it can be improved = Constructive.
From here on its up to civilian's to raise their concerns, suggestions and opinions.

Better staff management.
Something is wrong, yesterday up until 15:00 CET there were no cops online. People were free to do whatever they please. SAPD activity risen up at about 17:00 CET and went down on 22:00 CET again. In my opinion, you guys should fasten the recruitment process until you have enough staff to fill in the activity holes. Once thats done, you should resume to normal. My insight :)
Oh, and also, I think people should be PMED with reasons why they failed the background check so they can work on fixing those things,

Well considering Argonath is not yet our real life job, that problem can always exist and I am not shocked about the fact activity starts from 17 CET up, since that's about time people usually end up home and considering fact, they don't glue themselvs for the chair and jump in the Argonath rollercoster atleast for another 1-2 hours, the timeframe seems okay.
Now about recruitment, that is a seperate problem we are currently handling, but I intend to keep some limits on how many people we handle at a time, since we don't want mass recruiting and about recruitment, this is first time in S.A.P.D history where we get to actively recruit people from both EU and NA timezone.

About failing background check, there is two reasons you can fail a background check - Severe ARPD punishment in last few months, ARPD ban or criminal affiliations, all of which a applicant is pretty much aware of if he has any of those.

One key factor in general we must not forget is that Argonath population in general is far away from what it used to be and we must all accept that fact, regardless of how sad that might be.
Generally good points were brought there, but I think they need to be looked at abit deeper and not so senseless of few facts.  :)

For the time that you remain active it doesn't need to be faster.

Reinstatements are not as quick since we also got to figure out, how long someone has been out for and where his training should start, or what academy session they should take to keep the current standard of SAPD.
