I have witnessed how there was a uturn on an earlier decision to strip the Freecop Class of officers the title of "SAPD Officer" and instead now back as "ARPD Officer".

Now I personally feel this move to be counter productive as you are likely to witness "we are not bound by SAPD regulations as we are ARPD Officers" (which is incorrect but understandable from where they are coming)
This also makes a psychological divide among officers.

I don't think we need to go into much detail but the fact this move was done, by whoever clearly shows ignorance towards a large ammount of officers who do the job for the sake of it and not for a paycheck or to become a chief or for extra guns or to join in secret forums.

To not respect them as part of the SAPD is highly counter productive.

Now that the SAPD will soon be using money as an incentive for its commissioned officers, I feel it should be pointed out that these officers who give up their time, for free, spend their own very short supply of funds to police, who are often feeling ignored and down trodden should be given due respect they are deserved.

I would suggest a rebrand of the "ARPD officer" rank to "Special Officer".

I feel NO effort should be made to somehow differentiate Volunteer Officers / ARPD Officers from the rest of the force.
It is both stupid to list them as a separate entity and just plain insufficient.
Regardless of how much Commissioned SAPD officers get paid, no matter how much medals they get, a volunteer will not seek to further himself if he was not given some basic courtesy when he / she was serving as a volunteer.

The ARPD Officer / the Freecop / The Special Constable / Special officer / Volunteer Officer; is the foundation of policing. Without them being regularly there, there would be no server let alone SAPD.

Therefor I would like the SAPD command to take special note of this subject and actually make sure this issue gets dealt with or else you will constantly, regardless of the work you put in, the hours you put in, by default have a large amount of officers who are always going to feel as if they are on their own.

This happens when you give some people too much "Freedom". You want respect? You will get respect. Don't you worry about that.

First give ARPD Officers full armours now this..

Your the only special officer out there, who does this job only because of ze leet trolls you like to do in-duty, you do not want to be apart of S.A.P.D because you will have a Command staff watching over you, and correcting your wrong-doings.

It's just a job like Trucking,Taxi duty, mechanic. You get paid, therefor you do it, want higher ranks? Want paydays? Join the S.A.P.D.
Want to get rid of ARPD Officer? Join the S.A.P.D.
Want to be free to do your trolling induty? Stay put! :) (but carefully now.. one day it will stop)

If SAPD can not control the ARPD officers, why do they need a special status?
To me it seems we are going full circle here.
In the past SAPD did  not want to be associated with 'Freecops' because of lack of training.
RS5 introduced a training program with an exam to take so there would be a barrier and all cops would be obeying standard procedures part of SAPD.
For some reason SAPD has not been able to affect this and wishes to go back to a separated status.
That means there is no reason to have an examination to go on duty, nor to disallow competing groups the same rights and income as SAPD.

Make up your mind what you want SAPD to be, the State empowered police organization that has the state monopoly on police work, or a type of clan like a mafia on the side of law enforcement.
And learn t take responsibility. If new police officers do not do their job right, it is the fault of the senior SAPD officers. Sack every officer who is not willing to help a new officer.

SAPD Recruits it is then, i apologize for failing to realize that they would loose respect if we didn't allow them to become apart of us.
