Introduction

San Andreas Sheriff's Department, also referred to as the SD, is an old Sheriffs Department with a long, deep history and traditions, that ceased to exist in 2012. The department operated for roughly a year and has been one of the most successful and recognized unofficial police groups in the history of Argonath. We've first opened as Bone County Sheriffs Department in 2011, 13th of December, by Sheriff Huntsman (Max.Cipone at the time) and Assistant Sheriff Adam.Cipone. The department has steadily grew in numbers and recognition, as it enforced quality roleplay in the county, co-operating with official departments to uphold the law. Following a misfortunate set of circumstances, the department has been closed in 2012, only to re-open in 2016. In April of 2016, the department has been renamed to San Andreas Sheriff's Department

The department's main area of operations are the entire San Andreas countryside We wish to build a friendly, yet professional environment in our department. Our motto has always been to have fun, but stay professional. We are looking forward for any potential recruits. We do not care about your expierience or date of registration - as long as you are willing to learn, roleplay and comply with the rules of both the server and the department, as well as the universal rules of the ARPD and SAPD, We are looking forward for what you can bring into our department.

Rules

1. Respect and mutual coaporation, no-one is above anyone, respect should be given to everyone and should be expected from everyone.
2. When reporting yourself on the radio, you have to report yourself with the form of SAPD RANK/BCSD RANK to avoid confusion and misinterpretation.
3. Do NOT abuse your SASD position. Always remember that SASD ranks are only internal, and that outside SASD your rank has no authority value.
4. Use SASD callsigns to avoid confusion between SAPD and SASD units.
5. We do not prohibit you from patrolling city jurisdrictions. In fact, we encourage you to patrol them if there is a substantial lack of units present. However, whatever your patrol area is, you should always remain in character as a Sheriff's Deputy, use our uniforms, callsigns and vehicles. Also keep in mind that shall you spend too much time in the city, that can and will be taken as lack of interest and dedication to the Sheriff's roleplay. Such assumptions may lead to removal from the SASD.
6. Be aware of, know and use SAPD callsigns.
7. Follow the SAPD Chain of Command outside of SASD. Make sure to not neglect your SAPD duties such as desk work if you're  SAPD Cadet +.
 7.1. SAPD Cadets are not excluded from having to undergo SAPD academy.
8. SASD units shall use the text "SHERIFF" in capitals as their default and prefered /carsign.
9. No member of San Andreas Sheriff's Department shall enter Angel Pine without the permission a Flint County Liberation Army authority-representative. Deputies are free to patrol Flint County, however, they are to follow the conditions of the Peace Treaty found here. This rule is in effect from 2016-05-31 to 2016-06-10. The rule will be reviewed and adjusted according to the situation at the given date

I wish to announce that the leadership of the Bone County Sheriffs Department has come to an agreement with the San Andreas Police Department. San Andreas Police Department have given a green light for the existance of BCSD and have stated that they agree with the on-going formation of the group as long as we follow certain guidelines to ensure cooperation between BCSD and SAPD. They have also stated that SAPD members are allowed to join BCSD without any repercussions in their SAPD carreers and are actually encouraging those who decide to join to dedicated themselves to the Sheriffs roleplay within our group.
