Frisks suggestions

Well i would like to suggest, SAPD organized multiple frisks, on gang, mafias and other illegal groups hoods and its property's, so my idea is to be hosted a multiple search leaded by a high ranked, where the SAPD would enter a gang hood and search the gang members and it's property's for narcotics and other illegal stuff.

We don't have search warrants nor any reasonable suspicion/probable cause to search people whom we think possess illegal things so we cannot.

So in other words - pointless provocation that has a ninety nine percent chance of turning into a DM fest? No t.y.

Why should everything end in a DM fest, as I am able to look into this from both sides, since i am a gang member my self, i see this as pretty amazing roleplay opportunity for both sides, those kind of things should not always end just in a shootout as its pretty amazing and massive roleplay opportunity for both sides to enjoy, but it depends on the people how they will take this opportunity, have a nice time and enjoy the roleplay or just ruin it and end it in a pointless shootout.

Pretty unnecessary, citizens obviously won't appreciate such random and unnecessary movement from Police Departments. Police usually does these kinds of raids when there is either a warrant or some situations like that. I don't think high rankers or any superiors should have the ability to host raids like that.

I understand the concerns.
With all RP between cops + criminals on Argonath, you need to tread carefully. Not sure the SAPD are light-footed enough on the whole, but this could work in some situations, with some people.

I imagine we already have the potential to do this, doesn't the SAPD Chief have the authority to make warrants?

He has, but warrant needs to have strong evidences supporting it, he can't just throw them at random people.

Bring up evidences first so SAPD can process it properly.
If bad guy throws a rock on you, don't throw it back- it will change you into criminal as well.

Did such raids on groups before, rounded them up on the street and frisked them one by one.  They were more than happy to play along, even got a few arrests out of it.

Indeed i mean something like this, search for drugs and other illegal substances, it would be nice to see multiple law organizations, performing this together making it more organized and more massive, i believe it's time for a different style of roleplay between Law Enforcement and Criminals, one that would actually bring a roleplay opportunity, and not just the random shooting that is used to take place in the most of situations.
