Resignation Chief of Police [R*]Drix
« on: May 30, 2016, 18:01:01 pm »
Alright folks, it's time..
Funny thing i have resigned and re-joined PD hundred of times and this resignation is the hardest. It's hard because so much were done in a very little time, it's hard because i gained allot of great friends and great personnel who always supported me and trusted me at the same time.
I'm really glad i had a chance to lead this department, share that little knowledge i had about police-working and having a great team on making it work! But sadly i have to let go.
And it's not that i want to leave, but i have to.. i have seen the difference of this department running under an active Chief and Command but due my real life circumstances i cannot remain my activity. It's sad at the same time, because i didn't even give 50 percent of my effort to this department, i still didn't archive things i wanted to as a Chief, but this was an unexpected turn which i'm obligated to respond.. in life you only get one chance to seize an opportunity and i'm not the kind of guy who lets go of good opportunities, yes i might give up on some stuff but still it will be wroth it and gaming.. gaming lives forever  :D
I have advised my Command staff that i will be leaving on two weeks and those two weeks are done, the reason why i'm leaving its because :
- A Chef left his job and the Management of the Restaurant gave the responsibility to me and you know me..  :D good raise... hard work.. worth it BUT.. great power comes with great responsibility. By that i mean that my working schedule has been changed, i need to devote more time to the kitchen and learn the ropes on handling my responsibilities because i don't want to them them and myself down and by all costs.. i HAVE to make it work.Sadly.. it will make it very difficult for me to game for a few months till i get the hand of that job. And you all know that real-life comes first.. bills don't get paid by it'self!
- Exams. University ending soon and it's also time for me to concentrate on my exams, during this three months i have to work to the extreme and study at the extreme, which again will make it impossible for me to even come-in-game or handle any administrative work on SAPD.

These two factors combined into one lead into a decision : Leave gaming for a temporary period of time, get my life back on track, then continue enjoying Argonath.

I also talked to SAPD Command ...in-fact today, they all told me not to resign and be inactive but i simply cannot do that, i simply cannot vanish and leave SAPD without a proper full acting Chief, it will stalk it's development, bring un-stability to the force (like it did before with an inactive leadership) and basically break what has been built till now.
The reason why i cannot be inactive it's because i'm the one who said SAPD should always  progress and always need an active Command, not people who sit on their ranks inactive, people who cannot let go of power. In all truth i am not one of them, i'd rather resign peacefully letting my Officers know of the real reason, instead of being an inactive Leader and loosing all the respect i built.

So Friends,Enemies,Haters.. thanks for everything, it was a great pleasure and honor to serve this department i hope you all understand my reasons and not hold any grudge against me.

Before i'll leave i'd also like to make last-call promotions

- Trane Kiedis : Now that i'm leaving he'll be taking my position as Chief of Police, wish you all the luck and thanks for being beside me and calming me the f**k down everytime i went on rouge mode!
- Marcus Ferreira - to Detective, since you came back you showed activity and hard work, wish you luck with your new role.
- FredricK - Supervisory Officer, good luck at what path you choose, you served us with great loyalty and hard work, you are a great addition.
- Luke King - Senior Officer, you know.. keep it up lad'
- Raphael Deluca - SAPD Officer, i'm breaking a rule and pushing you to this rank, in all honesty you do not need Training you are more then fit to become an Officer just remember what we talked about, easy it up on the shoutin' ay? Hopefully when i come back i'd see you progressing on SAPD you are a great character and a hard-worker.. sad you didn't got the chance to show it to SAPD yet, but please man.. this is your chance. Make yo' nigga proud.
- John Collin - SAPD Lieutenant Last but not least,  the cherry of my cake.. was with you since you grew up on SAPD, trained you, stood over your head like a mentor trying to fix everything you lacked, you a quick learner, a great LOYAL friend.. thank you for listening to me, and standing me when i got angry at you.. i'm sorry.. i did it for your best and i'm glad that you reached to this point on SAPD.

To Command :

Best hard-working individuals i ever had to work with on S.A.P.D, thanks for baring with me, thanks for everything you guys! A really great team taking care of this Department, i was really lucky to work with you all, you made my vision came true and never questioned my decisions, always corrected me when i was wrong, always stood up to me when i requested! I am not afraid on letting SAPD on this Command because i'm sure that these folks will continue the legacy on trying to make this Department better and better! I'm really excited to see what have you guys accomplished after 4 months.

So, to finish this.. (i'm sorry i'm not good with words) see you all after 4 months, best of luck.. Chief RASHID'PAKI'KING is out!

Shit ain't real. Tell me you're joking. You could set a temporary Chief till you end your studies. It's f**king sad to see you leaving man, after all the help you gave me with EVERYTHING, coming from Training Division while I was a cadet, with my temper attitude problems while I was a Senior Officer. I can say you, in the field, you weren't a Chief, but more than an usual officer, just doing his shit. Hope to see you back soon, Drix! Good luck with the restaurant and the university! We'll keep in touch via Skype, for sure.

I enjoyed rolling with your brother, the ammount of arguments that we had, the ammount of good times we had, legit was like being married to you or something (no homo) the times when you helped me real life and the times that you helped me ingame, I enjoyed working under you, whatever the rank, you did your best for this department and I can safely say you was one of the best Chiefs I have worked under for a long time, credit for all the shit you have taken and credit for staying around so long, I knew it would be hard due to the situation, thats a fact, I wish you all the best and more for the future brother, hope to see you back soon enough.

Altho I had a very rough start in this Department, you welcomed me here with open arms, and without that, I would never have gotten as far as i've gotten in this department and as far as I keep pushing to go, so thank you for what you have done for me..for all of us, and good luck with your new job, we'll see you in the future.  :app: :v:  :donut: :leroy2:

I don't know what to say man. You did a really huge change on your time as a chief. I was always one of your best supporters since the time you showed up and became a chief. We used to talk together allot and you've helped me on my wrong decisions every time I came at you. I'm not happy for your resignation... I myself am still of the thought to come back as chief after you're reached your real life goals and i'm pretty sure the other part of command staff thinks the same.
I wish you the best of luck on the kitchen and on university. Hopefully we see you on TV soon ;)  :donut:

I don't know whatever the reason of this is. But with all this, I just wish you best of luck with the path you're going to. You were actually the great Chief, to be honest. We're going to miss that lose of us.

Also, Congratulations to those who are promoted.

I am shocked, such a great leader leaving so suddenly.

Well, good luck in your new job, studies and everything else...

You were a great Chief, if you weren't here, I would probably never join the SAPD and end up in a mexican gang again.

Goodbye, I hope you will come back.

I am surprised you didn't tell me anything about this yesterday! But I understand what you are going through with work and SAPD. Both are very time consuming and difficult to manage at the same time, thus one must be prioritized over other. I can tell this was a very difficult decision to make but unfortunately there are things in life that need more priority than others. This was completely unexpected, at least for me! All I can say is that I appreciate everything you have done for this department from day one till' now. Even though we weren't very close from the beginning, we have known each other for a long time and went through both good and tough times. Proud to say that you have always been a great friend and a person who I had the honor to work with. You are someone who made some great changes to this department in ways which never was done in the past. You have great leadership and managing skills which allowed for changes that vitalized the department's structure, discipline and work ethics. Although many people doubted you when you returned, you have proven to be one of the best Chiefs this department ever had. I hope your influence and guidance continues to prevail throughout the minds of the officers and command members. It deeply saddens me to see you depart at this difficult time, but this was a reasonable decision and am glad the department is in good hands of Trane.

Lastly, congratulations and good luck with your new position! :app: Also don't disappear! Come back from time to time to say hello to all of us!

Great power comes with great responsibility indeed, but all this responsibility is problaly gonna change you as a person in a good way and Im sure it will change how you work in the kitchen. It will be great experience even, but dont kill yourself there  ;)
Its been a great run every since we first met in LSPD, an honour working side by side and Im sure we'll continue that once you get tired of supervising ''people'' there  :D

You were a great person to work with, someone who's very understanding. I'm glad that you managed to overcome all the pressure that was piled on you the time you were installed as a Chief, and beyond that, you did your job well.

Last but not least, you know what I think of you from what I said yesterday. I'm looking forward to seeing you again in the future.
