LCPD's chief in the 1960s was none other than Raymond Meeses, my very own grandfather! SWAT (NOW Noose TRU) had Raymond as a SWAT Sergeant, and PICI (Patrol, Immigration & Crime Investigation) now CIU had Raymond as a Snr. Detective from 1950 to 1965 (the year of his sad death). Raymond was killed in a car crash, after successfully ramming a terrorist off the road into custody. Goodbye Granddad
