Reporting sergeant Chester Campbell
« on: June 03, 2017, 00:19:13 am »
My name is Daniel Castillo. A deputy recruit (SAPD recruit), and I would like to report Chester for corrupting and abuse of his rank.
Earlier we had a pursuit on a Huntley 3, were inside all armed. They shot us from their vehicle and we shot back. I killed two of the suspects, and the third one (The driver) has managed to escape after he jumped from an edge and Chester failed to tail him (Chester exploded the vehicle). After that he started calling us names in the radio and complaining why we didn't shoot the Huntley. The reason I didn't shoot is because a Huntley is a slower vehicle and there was no shooting at that time.

Few moments after I got my own Cruiser and started code2 in order to search for the suspect who managed to escape.
During my ride I passed Chester that drove his car and I drove over the speed limit. The sergeant pulled me over and started complaining about my driving. I tried to explain that I drove over the speed limit because it was in the county road which is not a city, plus because I wanted to find the suspect. He didn't care about my reasons, and ordered me to get out of my Cruiser. Then he said that I'm punished and I'll be on foot patrol for the next 8 hours. And ordered everyone to report me if I'll drive a Cruiser, or they will be on foot patroll as well.

I will be glad if you will take care of him because what happened today is not how a seargeant should act like.

***addition: He died during the chase, and then started using /r, complaining about the incident, means he continues to RP after his death. Which means he broke the rules.

Greetings,

For Internal Affairs Reports, refer to this.

As for your punishment, you were told to Drive-By the first escaping suspect. First of all, you follow your Sergeant's orders. Once the situation is done, you can report them for breach of regulations, however, we had been shot at from the Huntley, therefore we could Drive-By.

Secondly, I kept telling you to stop transmitting over the radio and you did not. You kept pushing me into taking actions against you as you "wanted to see me abuse" as you stated. I have at least two more witnesses for that.

Thirdly, Code 2 does not allow you to drive with at least 155km/h and overtake vehicles from the RIGHT side. And there was no situation reported over the radio for you to respond C2 at, neither a transmissions from your side on your actions.

And yes, foot patrol for eight hours. If you are seen in a PD vehicle, you will be punished. You have received enough warnings.

Thank you.

I already killed the suspects who shot us from the Huntley, and then the driver drove alone.
Even if we could shoot the Huntley, we didn't manage to do so and it wasn't only me.
You failed to catch the suspect, so what?  Is that a reason to insult recruits over the radio? Calling us "Slow asses" and such? Yes I had the rights to say what I want to say, I didn't mean to fight you over the radio I just wanted you to calm down because you was mad. Then you threated to punish me, so I said "I want to see him abuses his rank".

Many times I've seen officers and even FBI agents ignoring to the traffic rules.
No one would punish someone for reckless driving or speeding. A warning is enough in this case.
But no, you decided to punish me as a revange to the earlier incident. As I said before I didn't even fought with you, only told you to calm down. Nothing is a crime here.

I might be wrong because I drove over the limits and passed you from the right, but it's still not a reason to force someone for foot patrolling.

Being associated with criminals makes you wanted for the same crime. Laws are simple, so are rules. Comply to orders given by your supervisors. I ordered you to shoot, you didn't, I kept typing to you as you weren't complying, car flipped, I died. I called you a slow arse simply because you are one. Others didn't shoot either, yes. But I already talked to Jimmy who didn't shoot either and he normally replied. Meanwhile, you were raging at me "raging" and as I told you to stop multiple times, you kept continuing. You should have been punished in that spot but instead I just put you in my watch list.

You also called me a "dumb sergeant" while you were with the rest. I wonder how that makes you any better. You are implying that you are way better, yet, you fail to be a model to the others. Straight after the "argument" you come up and overtake me from the right, speeding. Just because others don't punish for that, it doesn't mean that I won't.

Now file a proper report as stated above. Make sure to have RPed turning on body cameras or dashcam, along with /td included though.

Cheers.

The Internal Affairs are already informed.
"I called you a slow arse simply because you are one" - This only makes it worse for you.
"I told you to stop multiple times, you kept continuing." - You fought with me over the radio, and when you and the others asked to stop, I stopped.
No one called you "Dumb sergeant" over the radio. You used a blunt language over the radio which is different.

In addition, if you died why you even talk in /r? Situation is over for you, others can continue normally. So you even didn't have a reason to use /r about that incident. Means you broke the rules.

When I called you slow arses it was OOCly though. I asked you to stop, you continued, willing to see me abuse.

I did not say you said "dumb sergeant" on the radio. I said, you said it with the rest of the guys. In /local.

Yes, you are a dumb arse and there is no rule that says that I can't state my opinion.

Now keep the rest for the IAD Case. Thank you.

There are no IC/OOC here in Argonath. Doing actions after death means returning after death.
That how I see it. Calling me dumb over the forums isn't the best decision.
When I said "Dumb sergeant" It was IC and I said it to someone.  So you basically know nothing since u are a ghost.

So if I die during some situation I would just /q and not come back cause I died?

Maybe there is no OOC and IC for you but there is for me. Make up your mind. If there is no IC and OOC for you, it means that you called me a dumb sergeant in general, not "ICly", as you said.

Rather my best decision or not, it's up to me to decide on what path I walk.

You are the one saying that I pulled you over cause of hate from a previous situation so you are relating it to the past.

If there is IC/OOC for you, you had no right to punish me then.

You decide what path you walk and you walked on the wrong path and I hope that you'll pay for it.

This is just a shame how a sergeant like you behave. And it even makes it worse that you talk like that OOC.

Both parties are required to drop the discussion. Complaint will be handled formally, if you have what to say, keep it until you're asked about it. Until then, topic locked.
