Cadet: Kappa
Session: #2: Patrol and Response
Duration: 1 hour (including 2 breaks)
Grade: 7/10
Passing Requirement: 8/10
Overall showing you have decent knowledge of procedures, but you seem to lack thinking under pressure.
You will need to work on your skills and gain more experience before re-doing the session.
Please check detailed notes below format.

Status: Failed

Sergeant DaniGold

Detailed Notes:
  • Operating police radio: You did well, remember to update the radio frequently to remind other officers clear areas and points of interest.
  • Patrol and response: You patrolled good, checked all the needed roads in certain areas, make sure though to not misuse the sirens on the police cars, like when you responded to the back up call in Starfish Island.
  • Pursuit: There were two pursuits during the session, you did make attempts at intercepting, which is great, but you missed the car by waiting on the wrong road. Think two steps ahead instead of one, like when a car is on a highway, it probably wont make a turn off of it, especially if it sees you waiting on it, missing you few interceptions. You also left an officer behind on foot, stranding him, which is a big no no.
  • Traffic stop: You stopped someone for driving off road, which is good, but you did an unneeded breathalyzer test when the suspect showed no signs of being drunk, and you failed to turn on the breathalyzer the first time, chuckling afterwards, which shows lack of professionalism. Also, you took a very long time doing a rather simple stop, wasting both yours, and the suspect's time. You did however treat the suspect with respect up until the last remark which i told you about.
Thats a charge.

Do not be demotivated by the failure Cadet, people frequently failed Sessions even during previous system, which was a lot easier. Considering that the academy was recently re-written and made harder to pass, due to us feeling that the previous system failed to filter out incapable officers, a failure is should not be considered as a step-back. Use Sergeant DaniGold's tips and you'll pass next time no problem.

Cadet: Kappa
Session: #2: Patrol and Response

Cadet knows and understands the core concept of Patrol and Response.
However, there are still some flaws that need to be corrected.
Cadet still mixes up/does not know certain codes.
Therefore, Cadet must be given a test on radio codes before taking Session 3.
Other than that, good work and good luck on your next session.

Cadet Kappa,

You are officially warned for lack of professionalism on the field. A law enforcer is supposed to act professional at all times. This shows that you are not yet familiar with our protocol. Therefore, a five-day ban will be placed on your sessions. You are not to take any sessions until January 16th.

Re-read the Academy Topics and re-familiarize yourself with the protocol. This will be your only warning. Should there be any more misconduct from you, you run the risk of being discharged from the Academy.

To serve and protect.

Try to improve yourself, Cadet. Professionalism is very important. Remember, that as VCPD, we are acting as role models to ARPD Officers.

Session: #4: Combat Tactics
Duration: 0,5 hrs
Grade: 4/4
Passing Requirement: 4/4
Cadet did well. He was already familiar with basic combat and has experience in that field, therefore the session was easy to conduct. Cadet won three out of five duels, demonstrated ability to lead-aim and understands the concepts of VCPD Combat. Cadet should now prepare for his final examination. Remember, if you have any questions about any of the material you learned so far, you should ask a member of Senior Staff, as everything that you have learned so far will be evaluated.

Rank: VCPD Officer (VC:MP)

Cadet has successfully passed his final examination and has been promoted to Officer.
Officer, you're a good addition to the team. You have well developed skills and a newly found dedication for police work that we found inspiring. Your academy progress was riddled with ups and downs but you have managed to go through it. Even though this kind of roleplay is completely new to you, you have adapted fairly quick and soon became a welcomed addition to the team. Remember what I told you, however. Learn to simply listen to your superriors at times. There is no need to get defensive when a superrior is explaining something to you. Simply let them talk and then respond with your inquiries.

As for the final examination, you got all the theory correctly, which is what I appreciate a lot since it shows that you took it seriously and have been learning. I saw no breach of protocol during the exam nor anything else that would fail you in the test. You have learned to communicate via the radio, use and understand the codes and callsigns and follow patrol and response protocol. However, your general driving is a little lacking and I'd like you to put some effort into working on that.

Welcome and I hope your stay here will be a long and successful one.

You have been assigned to the Patrol and Response squad.

Congratulations and welcome to the Vice City Police Department!
