San Andreas Police Department
The first and last; To serve and protect

Dear citizen and fellow police officers, San Andreas Police Department has been undergoing some changes and went forward with a new leader to get SAPD back functional on the streets to fight the crimes commited lately. As we expected we managed to get our officers back on the streets which have executed alot of heavy situations on a daily basis.

The criminal activity has been increased alot since the return of San Andreas Police Department on the streets, we had several bomb threats which has been taken care of in a professional way and the officers managed to defuse these selfmade bombs right in time. Beside the terrorism the drugs trafficking has been increased aswell, we can't mention an exact ammount but we secured a fine loot of drugs during our house searches and arrests on individuals which has been destroyed in our facility.

Previous weeks San Andreas Police Department has made a start to rebuild the Department to a functional level, therefore we have chosen to pick eligible members fit for a new place with new experiences in our department. Air Division had a loss with the resignation of it's flight Captain but we managed to find a new suitable member to fill it's place and we are glad to announce that Air Division is functional on a daily basis and we are striving to cooperate closely with San Andreas Fire Department in the near future for the best responses of our emergency services.

San Andreas Police Department it's head command has been around the table with Vice City Police Department  and Liberty City Police Department head command to bring in a new feature, the members of each department will have the ability to transfer from departments. The process will be as follow, VCPD Senior Officer would like to transfer to SAPD and fills out the therefor written format and redirects it to VCPD Command, VCPD command will vote if the officer is capable enough to transfer to SAPD whenever the command gives out the permission the officer may fill out an application to SAPD whenever accepted they will be placed under the Probationary Officer rank and go through a trial period to get introduced to SAPD's rules and regulations. When the officer has passed his trial period command will consider their rank.

San Andreas Police Department it's current structure is now functional for a couple of weeks and with the current members within the department we will be able to get our SWAT team functional aswell with the mixed Tactical Team formed by the SAPD and FBI we hope to get our team deployed more often when their presence is requested. FBI Director Niko and myself have been around the table looking for plans to make this program run as smooth as possible. Beside this all our divisions will be functional as they were in the past.

Lately we have recieved alot of requests to get our Detective Division back and active, for now there are no plans to reintroduce the division as we still have a low membercount and the Federal Bureau of Investigation has assigned a new Director which is an old colleague of mine, which means we are striving for a stronger cooperation than ever before with an active Federal Bureau actively working along our sides.

Signed,

Chief of Police
