It seems you don't have a clue when to use "Code 30". Let me make it clear- "Code 30 - Officer in danger, needs assistance (do not use this code for normal back up request)"

Means if your CHASING the suspect you should use "Code 3", NOT "Code 30"..

I was not present at the time so i cannot say if there was alot of situations going on or not for SAPD..

1. And if they are shooting from bike? Maybe a code 30 then..? And when we were telling code 30, there was a SHOOTOUT.

2. SAPD WASNT BUSY, There was NO other radio traffic then: ... 10-8, 10-7 etc..

I've seen this regulary = About 10 ARPD Officers (Badged men atleast) and lots of cadets (i won't tell there were freecops) Were 10-8, and always noone responds. It's because everyone gets onduty just to get weapons and go concentrate on general RP, instead of Cop RP.

IMO, Situation must be regulated.

Aye.... I'm down from 24/7 cop to like 3 hours-a-week cop because of bad radio communication.

I have noticed this a lot. There was a code 30 pending, and no one came to help me out. I was alone against 4 guys armed with M4 and SPAS-12's (Combat).

Then, when I ask why they didn't respond they say "it was too far away" or "was there a code 30?". I usually always respond to a code 30, most times I even finish off the traffic stop I'm doing at that time really fast by saying it's a warning.

There are some reason why officer cannot respond:

- Investigating
- Chasing another suspect(s)
- Talking to civilian in case/suspicious person
- etc.

I understand how u feel, also happened to me
Once, I handled 207 Alone and died... then kidnapper just flee...

The excuse that "too far" is not the reason
I can respond a Bayside Marina calls when I am at LSOD! (Most far Northwest - Most far Southeast)
Someone is just too lazy to drive/use radio

as james said others can be busy with things, you dont know what they are doing,
and james noted: bayside/LSOD,
you wont respond to bayside from LSOD normally,
depending on number of cops online, since LS must be free of crimes also
and most of the time its over before you arrive there, or they already went to mt chillaid

but it is true that there is low response normally,
myself also, me against Frank_hawk and mario, i chased them all around SA multiple times,
had that a lot with ghost and carhartt before also,
you must always hold on, dont give it up, as Frank said about me: he is like a bulldog,
biting and never letting you go,
this is also not going that good,
ppl give up after a min or so

but as i said it depends on number of cops online,
since there always must be some patrolling cities,
and also cops are chasing others

Yes I understand that

A long chase criminal(s)...

This also happened to me multiple times
Asked for roadblock or backup infront

They always fail at desync car and bad shape roadblock or fail at shooting
Or backup arrive late or fail at ram infront

We just need more high quality cop
And specialized training

i ALWAYS  respond to high calls like 207s and code 30's or code purple

no matter what the hell i am doing i am heading there every piece of back up helps if it is not at the back up point then there is a 60/40 success rate f i am at a traffc stop i give the guy/girl a verbl warning hop back into my car and take off on a code 3 (unless it is asked for a code 2 on radio)

if i was online i would of helped you FBI out

Only problem Joe is normally in these situations your on the other side ;)

I agree there is a problem with calls for help, many ignore.

Yes some are busy doing other matters..

But many are just standing around

I think that if you are busy and cannot help at least state this on the radio so that the officer/agent calling the Code 3 knows this  :)
