**Honor Guard Ceremony on September 11th, 2009**
« on: September 02, 2009, 08:28:17 am »
I think it would be really neat if I can get the patrol supervisors to help put an Honor Guard Ceremony together for 9/11 on 9/11 of this year as a rememberance.

Have 4 Officers with Shotguns and maybe go stage it in front of the City Hall, and Have all the police cars lined up with all their lights on, and have all Public Safety Officers, and anyone in the public watch, as Honor Guard does an 8-Shot rememberance with 1 Minute of Silence Following.

Let me know what you guys think about it so I can talk to the director and other Argonath agencies to coordinate this.

I personally think it was USA's government, or at least not terrorists... There's plenty of proof on Youtube.
Don't take this wrong though...

There are things you can't deny... I'm not going to start an arguement... Don't believe honestly in what youtube says... I could say the same about the government to you...

Well luckily in this world you are allowed to think what ever you want, most of the time, at least in America you can say what ever you want. Although that does not mean you should say whatever you want, thats your choice though. I am ending my replies now to anything related to this, its a waste of my time and frankly upsetting.

I didn't start this with intention of raising an arguement.  Regardless of how it happened or who did it, it has scarred the U.S. and that scar will always be there.  The point is, we lost hundreds of public servants, and many innocent were killed in the midst of this entire thing.

If you will post really big text, please remove the red color... it hurts the eyes.

An honor guard ceremony would be good. Last September 11 2008, all players on the Server lined up in front of LSPD (myself included) and did the /cry anim in remembrance of the unfortunate victims of 9/11.

Well.... It all was tragic, I won't hide that... The war that was started after, was useless and killed loads of people... Soldiers, not only from America, but from almost every country... It's something Americans forget, that Dutch soldiers also died, German, Belgian and French people died because of the war... I've spoken to Americans who DIDN'T EVEN KNOW that!

I must admit, wether it was terrorists or not, innocent people died... But why attack a country. More Iraqi civilians have been killed than they've killed Taliban fighters... The war has killed much more than that attack did, even though the most of the people died, didn't have anything to do it. They were at the wrong time, at the wrong place... THEY have to live with war daily, THEY have lost family TOO...

I can't get my thoughts straight when thinking about this... Whoever it was, I wish him to die very painfully...

I would just like to say that even though we will probably never know for sure exactly everything that happened that day, and that we cannot rule out anyone's involvement, (although we can rule out what happened in alot of the cases), we all DO know that innocent people died that day that did not deserve to, and many were also hurt, physically, mentally, and emotionally. Some will never recover from what happened that day. Nonetheless, this and what followed was and continues to BE a tragedy. The reason behind it's "celebration" is to honor those who had either lost their lives from or as a result of this, and to honor those hurt by or as a result of these events. It is also to remember those who were lost, and to honor those who selflessly decided to be heroes that day and try to save other's lives while risking their own. Even those who were not there but still tried to help deserve this honor for doing their part. Every day, people die. It is a fact, but when someone deliberately takes a life, or even many, it is beyond what should ever be allowed.

* SugarD salutes those effected by 9/11, and those who sent out their support to the sufferers. Those lost will never be forgotten.

Im sorry but how dare you disrespect any american, and the soldiers over in iraq, i ship out myself June 22, 2010, but plain and simple its definetly not just your french boy's dying over there, we have lost countless brave soul's to this war, our goverment may have its flaws but the poeple are all but at fualt in this situation, and the honoring of 9/11 isnt just for who died on that day, its also for the honoring of the soldiers who continue to fight for this country and have fought for it already, i would be proud to do this ceremony.

[SACS]SKenney commanded a short drill ceremony, SACS and other agencies came to give a 3 shot salute. Before a quick speech was read by SACS Director Jacob Michael Emerson:
"America was targeted for attack because we are the brightest beacon of freedom, and no one will keep that light from shining. Tonight I ask for your prayers, for all those who greave and I pray they will be comforted by a power greater than any of us. Spoken through the ages through Psalms 23: "Even though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, I fear no evil, for you are with me"

After reading your "speech" I started to wonder why they didn't attack the "statue of freedom"... They wanted to attack the freedom, then that would be a more obvious target  :conf:

if they wanted to attack freedom, they shouldnt have choosen America,
America is with all do respect not a country with lots of freedom,
far from
biggest example is gay marriages, netherlands legal and fully accepted,
america not legal everywhere and not accepted
outside that i think USA is a good country, but its just to big to take care of everyone

''walk through the valley of death'' isnt that a song lol
