Autodesk 3ds Max 2009 but it needs Kam's DFF plugin to open .dff

Really nice work there Dodo.  I have been wanting to give a shot at editing ".dff" files for a while, especially for editing pedestrians and police cruisers.  I might just give it a shot today if I can, and I'd be glad if you could help me out as a beginner, as I may just need help.  ;)

Or if you don't have the time, simply point me in the direction of the tutorial you possibly used.

Grr. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. Every time I remove some parts of the model and try to export the DFF file, it doesn't let me. And when I screw around with the exporting settings, the model pieces end up in different places, and is no longer a car model. How do you export the DFF file after modifying it?
