Retiring from SAPD and Argonath
« on: November 24, 2009, 16:30:01 pm »
The best time to start thinking about your retirement is before your boss does.

Hello my friends;

It has been 1 year and 5 months now since I've started playing Argonath, and it's also been 1 year and 3 months now since I first became an SAPD Officer. As some of you may know I' am rather inactive during these past few weeks and the reason is because my studies are at its' height and I'm having less and less time on the computer. I have irl issues that I need to take care of as well besides school too so my only way to balance it is to quit one of these addictive games that I have, GTA SA and IV included.

I still remember the days when applying into SAPD and going through the entire application process takes several months and the end result when you become an officer makes you feel very proud because the old application process was challenging indeed! It makes you even more proud when you are promoted to Senior Officer and even to a Sergeant. Back in the day being a Sergeant used to mean something for myself personally but now... the feeling is lost.

One of my most memorable experiences here in SAPD is when I became one of the first training officers in former Captain Flamemans' "SAPD Police Academy". Nothing makes you feel more proud than to see the people who you have taught become fine and excellent officers, and knowing that your role in this part of the community benefited for others as well. I do hope however that sometime in the future the SAPD Police Academy will be reopened and new trainers and students will take up their roles. I believe in my opinion that the SAPD Police Academy even though it had some flaws was a good way to teach cadets to become fine officers.

The San Andreas Traffic Police (SATP) god those were old times, it was the first ever official SAPD Squad/Sub-Division in the history of Argonath, unfortunately it fell apart. Despite of that I'm proud to have been able to serve in SATP along with its' members.

I would like to thank the following people for everything we've done together in Argonath and SAPD

SAPD
Thomas C, Smey, GiacJr, Flameman, Vince, Bianconeri, El Martu, Dark Raven/Altair, Tovenaarke, Alex, Andy, Eddie Pulaski

For all of our great times together in SAPD, going through many operations and our times together regardless that ended up good, bad or even worse. I also thank Flameman for giving myself and countless other trainers in the SAPD Police Academy a chance to make SAPD a better community.

FBI
JDCdess, Winters, Twenty

For all their help in many 207s', Code 10/Purples and in other situations. I hope that this will be an example that SAPD and FBI can work together without any arguments regarding who commands who, it's all about team work and team work is essential to get things done. Even if sometimes you won't like it, it still needs to be done.

Argonath Community

Thank you all of you for giving myself a great experience in playing a renowned game in an international community, made up of many people from many places. It was an honor guys, I'll cherish all of my experiences and memories with all of you always.

With regards to my property can the WS casino ownership which is currently under me be given to a WS member, and my other properties such as my house and car be set to "unowned".

Last but not least I would like to apologize to anyone who I have offended whether it was directly or indirectly, and I wish to the Argonath community a bright future. It has been an honor and privalige to be a member of an open and friendly international community. May this community grow to become an even bigger, stronger and better community than it is now in the near future..

Remember guys, keep moving forward.

So long, farewell, and thanks for everything guys!
Selamat Tinggal dan semoga beruntung!

Signed
Larry "Pixy" Faulke

Farewell Pixy. I was fortunate enough to do a few operations with you in Argonath and from what I have seen, you have been and will always be a great man. Your respect level will continue to rise seeing how you are retiring and leaving Argonath the right way and on good terms. See ya dude. Good Luck in life and all that you do.  :cop:

It pleases me to see that you liked me in SAPD. I liked you too. You've already told me 2 months earlier, that you were thinking about leaving. Then, and now still, I've told you to don't do it. You were a great RPer, didn't break any rules, you were mature and professional. All those elements have made a good sergeant!

Thanks for letting me be with you all that while!

Good luck mate, although I don't think you'll need any
