Resignation

Fellow SAPD members,

You may have noticed; I haven't been online in a while.

The day has come for me. I am resigning from SAPD, and you will no longer see me in the server many times. I no longer enjoy playing this game (nothing to do with players, server or any other things - It's just that I've "grown" over the game).

The whole adventure started in [RI]. Thanks for Frank_Hawk I learned how to RP.
I left for a good few months.
I came back, did some work as freecop and liked it. I went with Ghost and Zun on patrol. I met Smey. Happend to be a Belgian, and an awesome dude. I applied at the same time. Soon I got a chat with Pancher, and I applied at forums. Only a week and a half later I was a cadet (which I read on my cousin's laptop). One wave before Smey did. Vince accepted me. Heck I was happy, and started my job as cadet.
Just one week after I got my officer exam by Pancher. Shortened, cause Pancher seen enough of me. Looking back, I bugged him like I get bugged today - Very annoying. He said something in the lines of "You were the best cadet of this month, so far". Me and Smey stayed together the whole run, although I got further up in ranks where he didn't. I think that's one of the things of why we lost the contact we had in the beginning.

After that I grew in ranks like childs do in their first years of life - Really fast.
I reached captain, SAPD associate, and what not. I made a lot of friends, and - of course -, enemies.

I no longer enjoy the game. The only factor that made this decision hard, was James_Hunter.
Yes James, YOU caused me to doubt about this. Hehe, I liked SWAT that bad that I almost wet my pants when you were back. Now, soon after your return, I'm the one leaving. SWAT has been a lot of fun, but only this can not keep me here.

I'm not gonna do the special thanks, because I don't really like those lists. You always forget someone, and some on the list are less appreciated than others. The most fun I've had with James, the most thankful I'm Pancher. The most respected are the server owners; they pay for our fun, while they barely get to play.

I hope you will all remember me for a long time, whether it be good or bad. Good times have been on my route. Bad things have been on my route.

Thanks for the experience guys - I really loved the server, but now I don't.
I will drop by sometimes, but don't expect me to be on each day.

You've come a long way Thomas. You have done good for the SFPD and gave it it's kick off when the departments opened up, all of us have more issues than Argonath to deal with all the time and I can imagine clearly coming on the forum to find out 700 topics were made with 650 including such and such not being on the game 24/7. You will be missed, good luck with wherever you go Thomas.
