Syns retirement
« on: January 15, 2010, 22:37:27 pm »
I'm not going to beat around the bush with this. After my break I came back and was appauled at the state of arpd. It has become a terrible mess.

This post however is not a complaint or a bad girl and moan. I would like to thank the people who put there time and effort into this organization. Through good times and bad you have made this organisation the best in argonath and I will miss it. However I feel like an old cop in a new world. Out of place

So its time for retirement. I wish you all the best. I hope my friends will remain my friends. And my enemies...can go f**k themselves

Sincerely. Syn

I would love to stay. But things have changed to much. The atitude froom command staff is "if you don't like it, leave" so I have.
I used to love training new cadets to a specific and set plan. But now that any old officer can train it isn't as organized and uniform.
I hope the department system works I truely do. I'm sure, when more organized, it will be equal or even surpass the old system. But right now in my opinion it is not even close. As I said earlyer this topic is not a moan. If I had suggestions to solve problems I would happily give them. But the complexity in the task of pleasing everyone is just to much for a few people to bare. So it is understandable that things always have to change and adapt.

Thanks again

Syn

I smell bullshit.

With the old system training cadets went far too slow. We had no other option then to change it. If you liked the system its good to know. But not everyone did like it as much as you did...
And indeed if you dont like it, you can only leave. Or reform your arguments with all to date information.

Thanks Car :)

Who stops you from continue doing massive trainings with Cadets and freecops as you did before?
Have you tried to help improve either the PD you work for or SAPD?

The reason I stopped doing this is because I spent a lot of time trying to help lower ranks. And yes the odd one or two were thankfull for it. But in return what did I get? Another demotion.

And then from Senior Officer to Officer, he was Lt. But not in the way it is now, when it was a SAID position.
