Resignation
« on: January 29, 2010, 02:38:48 am »
Oh man, what a long six months it has been. I left crazybob's and joined Argonath back in late May last year, completely new to roleplaying. After playing for a good couple of weeks, I ran into someone who showed me a whole new different side of online gaming, someone who took me under their wing and exposed me to a true online community - Jemerson. If it were not for him and SACS, GTASA would have been uninstalled a LONG time ago. SACS started as a ragtag group of cops dedicated to fun, but professional roleplaying. SACS allowed me to be immersed into a tight nitch group of not just gamers, but friends. A special thanks (to name a few) to Rabbit, Frank, Kenny, Boozeman, and Kirby. Wonderful guys who were extremely helpful and fun to be around...something extremely difficult to find in ANY gaming community. All the wonderful people I met through Argonath and SACS really opened my eyes to a certain "spirit of the internet," you could call it. But unfortunately, it is time to move on. Argonath is different now...and whether that's good or bad, it's changed for me and I'm ready for different pursuits.

If I could really say anything with my leaving, I'd like for everyone to remember that while Argonath is a fun, sometimes intense, and immersive roleplaying game, remember that it is still just a game. Relax - don't take it so seriously and for heaven's sake, please go outside and read a book! Not only is it refreshing, but it can also remind you that there is more to the world and our existence than sitting in front of a computer ;)

Cheers friends,

Dang man...

Never though that you would be one to leave.

Hell I remember when me and you signed up for SACS at the same time. Both getting trained the same time, getting accepted into SACS. All by each other. You were and still are a great guy. Really cool to hang out with.

You'll be missed, it was an honor to serve with you and call you a friend.

Do keep in contact, Ventrillo is always welcome to you.
