Ever thought of reporting them here to get them to stop?

That's actually quite ironic because I recall reporting you for something like that.
Pics or it didn't happen! Seriously, I can't remember it. Nonetheless, once reported means you'll never change or help people to solve a matter?

@Oliver: The issue with cops not returning is then if only a small amount of cops are on and a Code Purple is in progress, and every cop has died from being outgunned, that leaves the suspects free to just stand around until their escape timer runs out, which isn't very fair in the least.

Yes, but one single cop coming back 20 times after he has died is fair towards the criminals?

I remember a situation where 6 SWAT operatives were pinned down against 25 criminals (i9). We had about 10 cops backing us. Only one operative died (that was before the assault due to his clumsy feet and the operative was a newcomer to the force anyway). About 4 cops died.
I'm just saying that it's possible to kill the criminals even if you're outnumbered.

And well, even if criminals kill all the cops that means they've won and are free to just stand around waiting for their escape timers to run out, yes.

Damn, When the hell did this happen. Fck Wait was that when I9 just started? I think I wasnt here then..... well in the group... But I want to say somethign. Cop can return for one reason And Quote me " The higher Up's doubt our skills to stay alive" Its not that we are out numbered thats the problem... Not that we are Out gunned.. Its that they are skilled dmers (Not ment for flame) They know how to shoot at us and frankly they Enjoy it. Look we will take Gvardia for an example... We go to their Hq armed and even if we call SWAT in we still lose at least 4 officers.. Why ... because no one takes tactical positions anymore they always baracade the front gate and shoot.. then their out gunned. We as SAPD need to learn to work togther more.. Because some people realise this.. (Higher ups) and we will have to contine to return till we (Some people) Lean the skills nessary to take skilled tacticial aproaches.  Hell I catch myself even once a day dying because my ego got too high and I stormed a house alone... (Stupid decision) Its not the training that we need nessarly "Its the ability to work as a team and have a skilled tacticial aproach" Quote me.

Hehe Jimmy, your text made me think about the past few days where Jay, Cero and I have killed shitloads of cops without getting killed once. After killing 20 cops we usually turn ourselves in because we have f**kall to do.

There really needs to be a rule forbidding cops returning to a crime scene.

There was, and Criminals were actually the ones directly responsible for its removal.

Well of course, when there are 2-3 cops online then they should be able to return, but when there are over 30 cops online they shouldn't be able to return to a crime scene only to get killed again.

Indeed, that was fun.

We were just cruising around Los Santos, no cop dared touch us, a shame really!

YES! You can escape! We have our advantage, and they have their's! That's what balances the system...

And thats the problem with criminals. You would think that if they killed all the cops they would haul ass and try to hide out, not stay in the same location. Bunch of dumbasses...

Exactly, Just like the gangs *Cough*Gvardia*Cough* They kill a lot of officers then just barricade themselves in the LOCATION they killed the cops.

Why isn't that fair?
In what way is that not fair?

Don't get me wrong, I like a good cop massacre/f**kinggenocide as much as the next Araatus (:B) but if I actually want to lose my wanted status I have to run and not touch my guns whatsoever. I'm good at that, but I wouldn't mind being able to take the odd cop out sometimes without f**king up my rhl.

Its also worth remembering that the infinite return rule is what makes a large amount of cops pretty crappy. Why bother getting good if you can just return in 1 minute after a reduty?
I mean, look at SWAT. Like I always say on TS, SWAT are basically a really well trained criminal group who happen to be cops. They don't return, or if they ever do it takes a damn long time to rearm, so they actually practice self-preservation and as a result generally f**k shit up for criminals.
Most cops do not try to remain alive in any way, and as a result suicide constantly into criminal strongholds until the criminals run out of ammo and are overrun with the suicide cops' rampage.

Exactly, Just like the gangs *Cough*Gvardia*Cough* They kill a lot of officers then just barricade themselves in the LOCATION they killed the cops.

Gvardia sit in their HQ, whilst Araatus generally sat on our HQ.

If we do this, we do not plan to escape. We only go there to eliminate as many cops as possible in a textbook AR-C Standoff fight, or in the past an epic Araatus Bistro hillside cover fight.
I imagine Gvardia have the same aim.

Because you already have the ability to escape, so how would limiting the number of officers that can chase be fair? If you kill all of them once and have yet to escape, then no one can do anything about you until your timer just sits there and runs out. That defeats the whole purpose of roleplaying cops and criminals.

Try to run around for 46 minutes with a single cop coming after you all the time. You'll be forced to kill him and that just makes your timer go up.
You can rarely outrun someone for 46 minutes since it just becomes immensely boring.

If you kill all of them once

Well then, there's your answer. If you manage to kill all the cops then it means you escape.

EVERY TIME Jay Adams and I are on duty and chasing criminals we ALWAYS kill them.

Main problem for me is bad inthernett, with better inthernett i could be able to shoot better.
Second, cops who return is usualy 'rambo cops' who is fihting like 4 criminals alone or running around to kill them. No wonder why they get killed. I RP care about my life. I always try to stay alive and take cover or wait for backup. If there is too many criminals and im alone i just follow them or stay close to them wait for backup. In the chase of criminals usualy i get owned by other pursuiting units than criminals. I always let faster units to pass or stay on the one side of the road so others could pass, but many others drive on the middle of the road and in turns i get rammed.
Mh without that rule cops would care more about their lives and do some more teamwork.

Xander, you deal with this problem in a very mature way. Do not listen to the people that try to get you down.

Exactly. And it wouldn't be 46 minutes, it would be around 90 to 120 minutes counting the time cops are chasing you.

Umm, not really? In real life, that would be impossible. Also, that is not how the escape system works, and we definitely don't want to add to the people that already cophunt instead of roleplay. This is not a DM server, it's a RP server. The idea for suspects and criminals is to escape, not sit around and wait for cops so they can blow their heads off.
