Stop cancelsuspect for this!
« on: November 28, 2010, 18:58:22 pm »
I have seen alot of cops suspecting for like "Murder" or "killing cop"
And then a higher ranked cop have unsuspected for "Murder is auto suspect"

I mean. Most of those cops who suspects for "murder" or "killing" doesnt have very good english skills.
That means they maybe doesnt know the word 'Assault' for example so they use Murder instead.

I see it's kinda stupid to just cancelsuspect directly after(That also can make the cops kill the suspect by mistake)

So please stop cancelsuspect when someone is suspected for 'Murder' or 'Killing'. Let them /gu and investigate

Thank you.

No... Cops and Admins Cancelsuspect when people suspect for this... The Argonath Scripters put in Auto Suspect... so the crime is given when you kill an officer... Dont suspect for Murder or Killing a Cop!!!!

So we who knows it's called 'Assault on Officer' should stop suspect them also and kill them as 'civilians' and loose cash instead?

But sure, When someone shoots me I just ignore to /su and kill him without suspecting.

The point is Suspect him for the crime he is committing... If you were Assaulting me and I suspected you for Bananas should I remain Suspected? Suspect for crime committed.

You are right, there should not be an unsuspect for such reasons unless it has been investigated. Some newer cops suspect for "murder" or "kill cop" as opposed to "shooting" etc...

If I'm being shot at, I don't bother with adding a warrant for shooting unless the suspect evades from me.
I take the suspect down and accept the $1500 fine. Who cares, I protected myself.

Lets face it, the only reason you'd add a warrant WHILE you're still being shot at is to get paid for killing someone.

if im being shot at I try to take cover and suspect them. I consider 'whites' as civilians. I then try to get him arrest. Some guys who roleplay sometimes even /gu. The rest rambos (most of them) enjoy duelling.

I just hope that after cancelsuspect the admins or officers take te time to explain to the officer why there was a cancel. Not just cancelsuspect and let the player wonder why.

The higher ranked cops and/or admins just unsuspect for "Killing is auto suspect" and then return to previous activities

True.

I'm recommending that some kind of command be added so that certain ranks, or the suspecting officer themselves, can change the crime reason. This also helps when cops try to suspect someone quickly, and then later need to retype things out so they are understandable. Abuse of this could be limited so that the officer can change it from anywhere, but they can't use it to suspect someone, and it doesn't affect the /rhl of the suspect.

Learn some english or don't suspect people.
And your crime reasons are absolutely perfect Sergeant? Let me remind you that you, yourself, have used abbreviations and half-ass English to suspect someone quickly when they are fleeing or attacking you, only to correct it later when you have a free moment to do so. We all do it. It's not JUST about how well someone speaks English.
