SAPD Members get a Personal Police Car?
« on: November 29, 2010, 00:13:00 am »
I see most of the time in LS, There are 0 cars there or Just a couple Bikes and Motercycles. This is my Idea, We can have every SAPD Officer that WANTS one and give them a Personal car with a /carlock, It would solve this. No cars in LS, All cops have a car that they can drive. Dont have a flame war in this topic, No trolls allowed on this Topic.

Thanks

Signed,

SAPD members applied for SAPD and worked hard to get it, ARPD Officers could apply and get Officer to get a Personal PD Car.

Well ARPD officers should have access to all PD cars (except SWAT cars) as SAPD members.
Because new members into Argonath should not be kept out from anything. Go on a patrol with an officer then if there is no cars!!!  or drive to another PD

This is not the solution to the seeming lack of PD cars. If there are none at LSPD go on foot patrol, or simply look around LS for a bit.. I am sure you will find at least 3 laying around.

The problem is some, if not most of the Officers, would abandon their PD cars in the heat of a pursuit or any other reason that I don't know.

Give the Officers a reason to park the Cruisers at LSPD Garage, that'll help fix the problem.

On a side note...

Yeah? And what about freecops? What do they get?

Or you could just go on Respawn Duty like what I and a fellow LVPD Officer of mine did. Basically, we get in a Cruiser, roam around LV finding abandoned cars then we blow them up. Great way to pass the time.

Bingo.

If you are worried about patrol cars, be sure to bring your's back when you're done! If you see an unused one somewhere, respawn it. Personal cars, if they ever existed, would be specifically for ranks that need them. There's more official cops in this server alone than there are cars, so even if we buddied up using that method, the server would simply overload from the amount of police vehicles, not even counting the other ones already in the server.

How about this. Freecops can have the SFPD and LVPD. While the SAPD gets the LSPD. :D

No. The freecops should have 10 ARPD Vehicles outside the LSPD Garage, that so they have no excuse coming into the LSPD Garage and messing up with our vehicles. Get this point, If the freecops can't find an ARPD vehicle. Guess what? They get to patrol with SAPD that so they can learn! YAY!

Good Things What Will Happen:
- Freecops will most likely apply for SAPD.
- Freecops will most likely patrol with SAPD Units.
- SAPD Units worked hard for there badge so why not give SAPD something better.
- Less Abusive Freecops Running Around
- Your car won't be stolen from other cops
- Units will respect there car more
- Personally, I would be better in pursuits
- Less Abandon SAPD Cars

Bad Things For Freecops
- Less Patrol Cars for Freecops
- More chance for a freecop to camp steal jail suspects
- More will moan/complain
- Less Cops

I can't think of anymore but just think how great it will be.

Frankly, I am currently against this idea. If you want a cruiser, go find one; no need to implement a whole new script for something that can be fixed relatively easily. When you return from a patrol, leave you car in the garage if you are /q'ing.

Or at least, respawn it. Yeah, I'm against it as well. Except for the part which Cane gets a Pink golf cart, 'cause he deserves it.

Mm yeah I forgot to add the respawn part and yes Cane must get his pink golfcart.
