logo explanation:

1st.
The middle of the police patch is a combined logo from all sub-departments of the SAPD. The colours are changed on it, to have better image. You can see halfly the San Andreas map behind the main emblem, where the 'SAPD' eagle is overwatching the state. The slogan was chosen by the SAPD members 'We make a different today for a better tomorrow', and it gives us pride to serve under the new flag.

2nd. logo is usefull for announcements when all sub-departments concerned.

Instead of technology policing for the future you should add something else because it doesn't look right. To serve and protect or something along the lines.

im opened for suggestions about the slogan.... others then the good old 'serve and protect'?

Brave
Loyal
Free
Professionalism

I still think "To Serve and Protect" would be the best slogan.

Also i think the date looks kind of weird..

If it gives you an idea, my police academy class' motto is "BA27, Integrity Above All, Ready When Called, Hoorah!", with BA27 meaning Basic Academy 27, the class. No, you cannot use it.

As for the logo, it doesn't look that bad. I agree with what Kirby said.
