SAPD: Salmonella
« on: June 22, 2012, 17:55:40 pm »
Ingame Nickname AND Character Name: Salmonella - Salvatore Monella
Real-Life Age AND Ingame Age: 15 in real life. 47 ingame.
How long have you played on Argonath RPG: Since December 2006.
How long have you played as a cop: Since June 2008.
Are you a United States of Argonath Citizen (do you have a passport)?: Yes.
Do you have a driver's license (issued by driving school)?: Yes.
Have you read all "SAPD Police Procedures" topics? Yes.
Have you been an SAPD member before? (cadet or above): Yes.
If yes, explain your previous rank in SAPD, did you resign, rejected or fired?

2008 - Cadet
2009 - Officer, Senior Officer & Sergeant
2010 - Sergeant & Senior Officer - Resigned
2012 - Officer & Senior Officer - Removed due to lockdown.

Had an previous application that go rejected? (add link to old application): No.
Why do you want to join San Andreas Police Department (minimum of 3 sentence):

I am reapplying to a position within the San Andreas Police Department, because I wish to continue my career as an S.A.P.D officer. I didn't intend to leave the S.A.P.D anytime soon, but was, like all of you, thrown out of the department because of the lockdown. I don't believe the lockdown nor the reapplying process was necessary, but nonetheless would like to continue working for the S.A.P.D. Hopefully the reasons why we were all thrown out will become more clear to me in time. At this point, I feel like there were at least a hundred different possible solutions availible, instead of this ''solution''.

As an S.F.P.D and A.P.P.D officer, I very much enjoyed the current line of duty, and felt as if it was improving with the day (not that there were any problems at all). The patrol reports, the organized trainings and operations... very enjoyable, indeed. Even although I might have been here for a long time, I hope that my period of service does not have to end yet.

Signed,

Ex-Western Command member,

Salvatore Monella

San Fierro Police Department
S.A.P.D Western Command
Patrol Report

Date: 22nd of June, 2012.
Length: Two hours.
Officers involved:

Lieutenant Daniel Bradford
Cadet Omar Aly
Cadet Eric 'Morais' Nolan
A.R.P.D Officer Salvatore Monella
A.R.P.D Officer Mark McDane Junior
A.R.P.D Officer Diego.
General of the U.S.A.A Caion V. Cortis
U.S.A.A Corporal Kent.

Areas patrolled:

The northern, western and southern districts of San Fierro in its entireties.
Whetstone; Angel Pine.

Suspects arrested: None.
Suspects neutralized: None.
Situations involved: Bomb threats, regular patroling, inspections of government property.
Detailed report:

I woke up just like I would have at any other day. After I'd eaten breakfast, I checked the mail. There were multiple letters from the San Andreas Police Department. Without revealing classified information, I think it'd be save to say that my position of S.F.P.D Senior Officer was (temporarily) gone; just like any other regular officer's rank. I was explained about the situation at the San Fierro Police Department, right after I arrived there. During the periods to come, there won't be any reports from S.F.P.D Senior Officer Salvatore Monella. You'll have to do with A.R.P.D Officer Monella. Luckily, my rank won't stop me from writing these reports. I'll keep submitting these on my former, modified S.F.P.D reporting form.

We were briefed about the situation and were advised to just keep on working until the situation gets resolved. I decided to patrol solo for a while, to think for myself for a while. The San Fierro Police Department garage was full of cars. I grabbed the nearest one and started its engine. The doors opened automatically; at least that hadn't changed... I headed out to Doherty and Queens, for these areas are the most-common areas for trouble to appear. Nothing was happening today, luckily. A very quiet day for the city of San Fierro.

After half an hour of patroling solo, Lieutenant Daniel Bradford signed himself on duty at the department, and asked if anyone was interested in patroling with him. I responded to his message and told him that I was intersted in patroling with him. A rendesvouz point was set at the San Fierro Police Department. When I arrived, the Lieutenant told me that he was actually waiting in the S.F.P.D garage, and not at the front door. When I approached him, he had just gotten his gear ready after exiting through the backdoor of the department. We grabbed another patrol car after the Lieutenant told me to drive the car. He also ordered me to head out to the main gate of the garage, where we would wait for Cadet Omar Aly to appear.

Cadet Omar Aly arrived, which meant that we were ready to officially start patroling. The radio was ready and the car engine was once again started. We patroled the middle districts of the city first; Queens, Doherty, parts of Downtown... After that, me and Lieutenant Bradford decided that it'd be a good idea to check Missionary Hill its radio equipment. The buildings are government property, and we'd gotten word that some radio channels weren't reachable anymore. As we drove upon the hill of Missionary, we were also able to enjoy the wind and view that comes with the landscape there. Cadet Aly was told to check inside the building for any suspicious activity or non-regular stuff, while me and Lieutenant Bradford would check the site around the building. I was told do to both that, and to inspect the satelite and its vinicity.

Everything turned out to be alright, which meant we were able to resume our patrol. Lieutenant Bradford told me to check the West Coast while we were on our way to the northern districts of San Fierro. We checked the beach and the streets near the coast, to later arrive at Palisades and Paradiso. After patroling there for a little while, Lieutenant Bradford instructed me to head out to the southern highways while we would head for Angel Pine and Whetstone at the same time. We were planning to get some food and weapons at Angel Pine, after we'd have refueled our vehicle. While I was refueling the vehicle at Gas Station 6, Cadet Aly was called. After the first call was finished, Lieutenant Bradford asked what the call was about. The call was duty related, for it was to alert us about a code 10, or, a bomb threat. The caller was General Caion V. Cortis of the United States of Argonath Army.

The General told us to meet him at the bank of Los Santos. We went there in code three and arrived after three minutes. Lieutenant Bradford found that the Los Santos bank was entirely empty, while me and Cadet Aly would investigate the perimeter around the bank. General Cortis informed us that the bomber was an immigrant by the name of ''Trey''. After patroling the area with General Cortis for a while, we found him, barricaded inside the Little Mexico Church, where he was planning to detonate the bomb. Lieutenant Bradford was the first one of us to go inside and negotiate with the foreign bomber. General Caion V. Cortis, myself, and Cadet Omar Aly would follow shortly after that. I was told to go outside again after the bomber demanded that he'd be alone with the Lieutenant.

During this bomb threat, I was forced to withdraw, for both my shift was over, and I had another matter to attend to. The bomb threat was solved, or so I have been told. Apart from all the hustle within the S.A.P.D today, I guess I can call this a succesful day with succesful patroling.

Dash-cam:

Regular patroling without a patrol partner.

Preparing for patrol, together with Lieutenant Daniel Bradford.

Patroling with both Cadet Omar Aly and Lieutenant Daniel Bradford.

Inspecting the satelite and its power supplies.

Resuming the patrol after inspecting Missionary Hill. Note the beautiful sight, mentioned earlier.

Patroling the San Fierro west coast while being on the way towards the northern districts at the same time.

The response after General Cortis informed us about a Code 10 Blue.

The Code 10 scene itself.

We've certainly bashed our heads on certain issues, but none of those can take away from your policing. You're great at organizing patrols and other activities and firmly take a stance on issues regarding your fellow officers. Good luck, and make sure to pop in some organized patrols!

San Fierro Police Department
S.A.P.D Western Command
Patrol Report

Date: 23rd of June, 2012.
Length: Three and a half hours.
Officers involved:

Captain Sean Caltson
Lieutenant Daniel Bradford
Cadet Omar Aly
A.R.P.D Officer Salvatore Monella
A.R.P.D Officer Cester Collin
A.R.P.D Officer Saif.

Areas patrolled:

San Fierro in its entirety.
Parts of Tierra Robada and Bone County.
Whetstone and Angel Pine.

Suspects arrested: One
Suspects neutralized: Two
Situations involved:

Code 30 response, drive by training, regular patroling, investigation regarding corruption, high speed chases.

Detailed report:

My second day as S.A.P.D applicant. I arrived at the department and signed myself on duty inside. Right before I wanted to start the engine of the police car I was in, A.R.P.D Officer Cester Collin asked me if I was interested in patroling with him. Cester is a good friend of mine and I've patroled with him lots of times during my service for the S.A.P.D, so I naturally said 'yes'. I waited for a few minutes infront of the San Fierro Police Department, in my car. A.R.P.D Officer Collin appeared, and got inside the car. He asked me if we were going to patrol in Los Santos, or San Fierro. I told him that I was planning on resuming my work for the San Fierro Police Department, regardless of my rank. That meant that we were going to patrol in San Fierro primarily.

As we started patroling, we noticed that the city, just like yesterday, was hauntingly empty. Perhaps it was the time of day; it was only 7:30 AM when we started to patrol. Shortly after we'd started to patrol in San Fierro, a code 30 was declared at Bone County. Since we did not have anything on our hands in San Fierro, I decided that it'd be wise to respond to that instead. The code 30 was over as soon as we drove on Gant Bridge, but the suspect weren't caught yet. We continued to respond, and sure enough, there he was. A suspect in a white Bullet appeared right infront of us at the highway of Tierra Robada. He turned around when he saw our police car's lights. His car was smoking, so he headed out to El Quebrados, where he would have his car repaired in a Pay 'n Spray garage. Sadly, he managed to succeed in getting his car back on the road again.

A long chase between us and the white Bullet then came to be. He sticked around Tierra Robada for a while, but also went to Palisades and Paradiso through the Gant Bridge. He did however return to Tierra Robada right after that. At one point, he flew off a bridge at an intersection near Las Barancas. We did the same in our police car, but it didn't prove to be as effective as it had seemed to be for the suspect. Our car's hydraulics system broke down, and we had to run back to the El Quebrados Police Department to get a new car. We arrived there quickly, because the intersection was right between Las Barancas and El Quebrados. We didn't waste any time; A.R.P.D Officer Cester Collin manned the steering wheel, while I'd gotten in as a passenger, handling the radio. We tried to track down the suspect in Tierra Robada, but failed to do so there. After a while, we checked Palisades again, for he might've gone there instead. And sure enough, we had a visual once again.

As we proceeded to engage the suspect in a chase once again, we noticed that our fuel gauge was indicating a lack of fuel. Luckily, the white Bullet appeared to be having problems of a similair nature. He stopped his car at Ocean Flats and ran to shelter in a nearby garden. After a short speech from us, we managed to talk him out of doing anything stupid. He surrendered himself to the San Fierro Police Department, and was escorted to that same department by a police car full of late-arriving officers. A.R.P.D Officer Collin and I decided that it would be better if we were to continue to patrol instead of escorting the suspect. Besides, we were low on fuel, so that would've been a priority anyways.

The suspect was escorted to the police department, and we were back amongst the streets of San Fierro. The earlier chase sure had taken a lot of time from us. It was 11 AM now, and the streets had increased a lot in terms of activity. After patroling for a while, A.R.P.D Officer Collin had to sign off duty for a while. I was alone again, and decided to check if there was any S.F.P.D or A.R.P.D employee in need of assistance in the form of a patrol partner. Cadet Omar Aly had signed himself on duty a few moments earlier, and luckily, was still searching a patrol partner. I was at the San Fierro Police Department, while he was already patroling. This wasn't an issue, I just had to wait a little bit longer before I could start a new patrol. Cadet Aly arrived after 4 minutes, and parked his police bike at the yard infront of the department garage.

Cadet Omar Aly got in a police car, behind the steering wheel. I entered the same vehicle as passenger, and reached for the police radio. We were once again known as S.F.P.D-Delta, the callsign I've always used until today. We started patroling through the streets of San Fierro, and noticed once again, the increase of population that we were experiencing today. After patroling in the northern areas of San Fierro, we turned our gaze towards the Southern parts. We passed by the Doherty ''heroin spot''. We noticed someone waiting outside at the yard, leaning on his pale-blue Buffalo. When we engaged him in our police car, he ran. We didn't chase him, instead we waited on a distance, and sure enough, the man returned back to the factory. This time, he wen't inside, something which is prohibited by law and considered as tresspassing. We engaged the man while he wasn't onguard.

We approached the man after he'd gotten inside of the building. As soon as he noticed us, he dropped down onto the ground, groaning about an awful pain he was apperently experiencing. The man told us he needed medical attention, but he seemed very suspcious to both Cadet Aly and me. While Cadet Omar Aly inspected the table that the man was laying right next to, the look on the man's face changed. He reached for a pistol from his left backpocket, and tried to shoot Cadet Aly. As soon as he reached for his pistol, I grabbed my Desert Eagle and shot him in his knee when he aimed it at Cadet Aly. He dropped his pistol, and punched Cadet Aly instead. Then, he reached for his pistol once again, and was allowed to fire a full clip of munition. He didn't hit any of us, but had to be shot in order to prevent that from happening in the near future. I fired three shots at the man's chest. He then proceeded to fall down and die right after that.

An ambulance arrived and transported the man. Cadet Aly and I returned to the San Fierro Police Department in order to take both a quick break, and refill our gas tank. When we left to continue our patrol, we noticed Lieutenant Daniel Bradford was standing in the garage too. He got inside the car and told Cadet Aly to get him to the front of the police department, for he had to grab something from his locker. We waited outside for the Lieutenant. When he got out of the department, he stepped into the backseat of the car. Lieutenant Bradford insisted on taking over the task of handling the police radio. We continued to patrol around the city of San Fierro, and went to check on a different drug dealer's spot this time. As we passed Paradiso, we noticed a police bike standing near the drug dealer's spot. Soon, we discovered A.R.P.D Officer Karim Scotto, watching the coastline. He was surprised to see Lieutenant Bradford approaching him, and even more so when the Lieutenant started to interrogate him.

The interrogation soon turned into a suspection, and later into an arrest. The A.R.P.D Officer was accused of ordering heroin and taken back to the San Fierro Police Department for further investigation. He denied that he had anything to do with the heroin dealer turning up and dropping a package right before running, when he saw us. Instead, he accused both Cadet Omar Aly and me of ordering the package. After a long interrogation, the A.R.P.D Officer admitted to have ordered and accepted the package that the heroin dealer brought to us. He was banned from returning to cop duty, fined and put into jail. It's always sad to see an officer turn to corruption, especially when having served for such a short time.

Cadet Omar Aly was told to start patroling with Captain Sean Caltson instead of me and Lieutenant Daniel Bradford. The Lieutenant and I were heading out of the department after the investigation was finished. We got into a new police car and noticed an A.R.P.D Officer in need of one or more patrol partner(s). He joined our patrol right before we were planning on resuming it, so he was right on time. We patroled at southern San Fierro. A suspected was spotted in a black Infernus, on the Foster Valley highway. I engaged the suspect in his sportscar, and managed to block its road. Lieutenant Bradford and A.R.P.D Officer Saif managed to put the car to a full stop. The suspect jumped out of the vehicle, and off of the intersection bridge. I followed him, and so did Lieutenant Bradford. Before I could take the shot, Lieutenant Bradford had already taken down the suspect. We continued to patrol throughout the city. The city was clean once more, so we decided to check on Bayside. After patroling the streets of Bayside for a while, we returned to San Fierro mainland. Lieutenant Bradford then drove back to the San Fierro Police Department, where we would get a 'short, but effective' training.

Lieutenant Daniel Bradford briefed us about the training, and we discovered that we were going to get some training on driving by in a car. After the briefing, Lieutenant Bradford transported us to a garage where he had stored a repossesed Infernus. The Infernus was going to be driven by the Lieutenant, while I, as driver, and A.R.P.D Officer Saif, as passenger driving by, would chase him. The chase didn't last very long. A.R.P.D Officer Saif and I managed to cease the Lieutenant's Infernus. After that was done, Lieutenant Bradford told us to get back to the garage we were earlier, when all of the sudden, a suspect on an NRG appeared! The NRG had become our main priority. Lieutenant Bradford quickly jumped into the car, I was now able to proceed in chasing the biker. The chase lasted very long was very tiring, so we dropped out after the biker entered Los Santos jurisdiction. After this chase, we thought that we've gotten enough training and different activity for that day. At the San Fierro Police Department, I signed myself off duty for the time being.

Suspects arrested: Two.
Suspects neutralized: Two.
Situations involved: Code 30 response, regular patroling, high speed chases, suspect escorting.
Detailed report:

Ah.. monday, the most tiring day of the week. I woke up late today, but managed to get to the department in time. As I signed myself on duty today, I noticed there were multiple officers doing that same thing at the same time. Usually, they sign in at different times during noon. This was an advantage, because it meant that I didn't have to start my patrol alone. A.R.P.D Officer Kyle was the first officer that suggested we'd patrol together. I took him up on that offer, so we started to patrol together around 8 A.M. San Fierro was relatively empty, so we decided to patrol in Los Santos for a while. As we made our way to Los Santos through the Flint County Intersection, a code 30 was declared through the police radio. The code 30's location was the Los Santos skatepark. A.R.P.D Officer Kyle turned on both the lights and siren of the police car, and rushed over to the Los Santos skatepark.

When we arrived, it turned out that there were two suspects, barricaded by A.R.P.D and L.S.P.D officers. They made it very clear to us that they didn't plan on giving up, verbally. A.R.P.D Officer Kyle and I both got out of the vehicle and proceeded to take cover behind our police cruiser. The cruiser next to us was an L.S.P.D cruiser, with behind it, L.V.P.D Cadet Lionel Valdes, L.S.P.D Cadet Pedro Cipone and Captain Kelvin Sushi. Shortly after that, the Captain told his men that he was going to move the car closer to the suspects, and that the Cadets were to follow in the cover of the police cruiser. The car was then parked even closer to the suspects. The suspects still didn't surrender, and took cover behind two heavily modified vehicles that surrounded them.

Captain Sushi gave a good example by moving his car closer to the suspects. Without that, the situation would've taken a lot longer than it did. After Captain Sushi moved his car closer, A.R.P.D Officer Kyle and I approached it too. When we did this, the suspects noticed they were even more outnumbered than they had previously thought. They started to run. One of the suspects opened fire, while the other one stepped inside of one of the modified vehicles that previously served as their cover. The suspect that chose to run, found himself in a very unfortunate situation. He tried to run by entering the highway that was right next to the code 30 its scene. To do this, he had to jump off a 20 feet height with the car. Despite this, he actually tried the stunt, and broke one of his tires by doing so. The L.S.P.D Officers were very quick in destroying the remaining tires, and eventually, the rest of the car. The car caught fire and the suspect got out of it to surrender.

The other suspect didn't give up easy either. After a heavy gunfight, he paid the price of his own life. The S.A.P.D forces were forced to take down the suspect in order to protect themselfs and the civilians nearby. There was quite a crowd nearby the suspects, which we couldn't get to safety during the shootout. The suspects would've instantly attacked us. The suspect that didn't run, was, as said before, shot to death. The suspect that surrendered, had his cuffs applied by me. I brought him back to the scene, but let the L.S.P.D Officers escort him to his next destination: jail. No civilians were hurt during the shootout.

A.R.P.D Officer Kyle and I, known as SFPD-Foxtrot (the callsign I use whenever possible), headed off to the western districts of Los Santos, where patroled in places such as Marina, Rodeo and Vinewood for a while. After patroling for a while, and reporting about it, we got a reply from A.R.P.D Officer Ryan Caltson. He had just signed in for some S.A.P.D duty fulfilling. The A.R.P.D Officer told me that he was interested in joining SFPD-Foxtrot, and asked if there was any need for a third member of the police cruiser. The police cruiser wasn't full yet, and like I always say: ''The more, the merrier''. Naturally, we accepted his offer of joining the patrol. After the radio conversation was finished, I took over the steering wheel. At that point, A.R.P.D Officer Kyle was inside a store, getting us a few drinks. After he got back inside the car, I told him we'd be picking up A.R.P.D Officer Caltson.

In code 2, we took the roads through Flint County in order to reach San Fierro on short notice. We arrived at the San Fierro Police Department, five minutes after departure from Rodeo. That's not a very long time if you keep in mind that we were following the speed regulations. A.R.P.D Officer Ryan Caltson was waiting for us infront of the police department. I stepped out of the car and my driver seat in order to salute him. I've known the officer since 2008, and was very glad to both see him, and patrol with him. His reaction was of a likewise nature. I offered him a position in the cruiser as driver, because at that point, I prefered to take over the police radio controls instead. It'd been a long and winding trip from Rodeo to the San Fierro Police Department.

A.R.P.D Officer Ryan Caltson patroled with us through the streets of San Fierro. The streets were calm and clear - just the way we like it. During the at that point short-lived patrol, A.R.P.D Officer Kyle suggested that we'd be stopping by the nearest ammunation. The nearest ammunation at that point was Gvardia's ammunation at Ocean Flats. Despite that, I insisted that we'd be visiting the Angel Pine ammunation, for I have a fair amount of shares invested in that business. We arrived at the ammunation of Angel Pine and faced a fairly high amount of entrance fee. Despite that, we all entered. I obviously didn't have any problem with that, for I basically own the entire shop, haha. Both A.R.P.D Officers managed to find a few guns which would improve their conduction on the field. I myself merely got some bullets and a modern armour vest.

We patroled in Angel Pine for a short time, and then headed off to Los Santos, in order to assist the Los Santos Police Department. Vinewood was very calm, calmer than it usually is... The streets of Marina were regularly populated, but when we got the Rodeo's main road, infront of the fire department, we noticed a running person on the street. When we told him to stop, he locked himself into a building infront of him. After we found out that we were dealing with a criminal here, we called for immediate back up from the Los Santos Police Department units. Right after we requested more officers to respond, the criminal got out of the building and ran to the left of us. He looked back briefly, only to see over four guns pointed at him. He realized he wouldn't be going anywhere, anyway, so he gave up. The L.S.P.D back up arrived, but was told that the situation was under control now. The resumed their patrol, as we did with ours.

We now had to escort a criminal. The criminal was wanted for a triple murder, and firmly resisted his arrest after we took him into custody. He spat on us, shouted all over the neighbourhood, and even tried to bite us. The decision was made very quickly: This guy was going to pay a visit to the Mordor Maximum Security prison. A long trip lied ahead of us, because Rodeo isn't at all close to the Mordor Maximum Security Prison. Despite that, we were convinced that Mordor would be the only way to teach this man any sense of respect for authority. After burning up some gasoline and having used some ducttape, we arrived at the prison facility. The man was escorted into prison by A.R.P.D Officer Ryan Caltson, while A.R.P.D Officer Kyle and I were waiting outside, to both guard our police cruiser and help guarding the security prison itself. A man appeared right before A.R.P.D Officer Ryan Caltson was preparing to leave the interior of the prison compound. The man appeared to be the criminal's lawyer, and was allowed inside, after being frisked and escorted by the prison's own employees.

Everything at the prison facility was done now, so we returned back to San Fierro, to make a quick stop at our department, the San Fierro Police Department. After that, we patroled Flint County and Whetstone for a while, to later move the patrol back into Los Santos. The Los Santos Police Department appeared to be in need of some asistance. At least, that's what the police radio traffic suggested. SFPD-Foxtrot was active for a very short period of time in Los Santos after that. I signed myself off duty, so I cannot write anything about the latter hours of SFPD-Foxtrot. I'm sure that they didn't blow themselfs up, and I'm even more sure that there'll be more reports to come about SFPD-Foxtrot's ''adventures''.

Hello Sal!

After reading your quite detailed report, I must fully agree myself with Paul.
It's nice to read trough and also very realistic. It was also a great pleasure to be in the patrol with you again, espescially knowing it's been ages that both of us were patrolling together.
I believe our first encounter was also around San Fierro, with a helicopter of some sort I recall. A very nostalgic patrol yesterday  :D

Totally recommended and expecting to see your name on the list with the next applicants, you only deserved that.

Sincerely,

Caltson
