The NATO phonetic alphabet is used to relay individual letters to other units over a radio. This is mainly for team speak but is available in /r radio if you want.

A = Alpha
B = Bravo
C = Charlie
D = Delta
E = Echo
F = Foxtrot
G = Golf
H = Hotel
I = India
J = Juliet
K = Kilo
L = Lima
M = Mike
N = November
O = Oscar
P = Papa
Q = Quebc
R = Romeo
S = Sierra (Pron: See-aer-ah)
T = Tango
U = Uniform
V = Victor
W = Whisky
X = Xray
Y = Yankee
Z = Zulu

This is nice and can be used in a 207 for example or 211 , the idea is that it can be usefull.

No they arn't Jimmy, this is the NATO version of the phonetic alphabet, NATO is the "North Atlantic Treaty Organisation" in which european armies are united together, America has its own phonetic alphabet, this one is for british troops, etc.

Yeh, they use Alpha, Delta etc. But most are different to this one.

alpha beta and all are common, although i dont know anything about it,
but i guess James knows enough of armies because he belongs to 1 himself

Alpha - Zulu is the phonetic alphabet using in armies (NATO, UN, USArmy, USMC, USN, USAF, etc.) as I know

As far as I know, this Phonetic Alphabet is used World-Wide.

Also, yes, he got all of them correct. I always knew the Phonetic Alphabet, and wondered why 'ARPD' never used it.
