How freecops (new players) are treated by regulars.

This guy was just trying to RP with Niko, but Niko did not give him a chance.

that's roleplay...
I'd just /su [id] Driving under influence of alcohol.

If he wants to roleplay like that, why not? :)

Sure, it's roleplay in some peoples eyes.. (Maybe about 5%) but I'm sure he does this to every freecop, discouraging them from wanting to play.

Its sad, Fortunately i havent got any biggest disrespect from regulars yet but still they like to avoid patroling and more things with me.
I dont disrespect other Freecops but i dont patrol with many of them because they might abuse and they dont use radio to report.

Freecops is a real problem, to admins, players ,cops, suspects to everyone!
sometimes i try to patrol with freecops but sometimes they're very hard, like, unstoppable.
some of they are good, some others, goddamn.
a good sugestion is do not allow someone at the first day that he joins.. like, he needs to play 1 week and have passport in order to become a freecop.
doing this will encourage such jobs, such as driver, medic, hooker, etc..
so we'll not have a state with 70% cops, 10% criminals, 5% drivers, 4% medics 1% hookers.
not good to see that percentage.
If this happens, probably we're going to drastically reduce number of cops.
should be like: 40% cops 15% criminals 20% drivers 20% medics 5% hookers.
and THAT will make cops work more funnier and split more the outnumber of cops.

Agreed Wayne.
It depends on person. I bet i was noob freecop at start too. I dont know how to rate my skill now but i think im better than before. Atleast i know codes and rules now.
I think you should post idea about it on Argonath page.

That would make cops more to work together and freecops would be more professional.

This would ruin the game for the new players. Being a cop is very attractive to newbies, but the lack of previous knowledge makes him annoying for the rest.

Funny that this is brought up, because a few days ago I was playing online and a player told me to **** off because he mistook me for a freecop for whatever reason when I was suspecting him for shooting in public. He cried abuse to all hell and the admins, including myself, refused to unsuspect him because he was the one abusing the belief that freecops are "noobs".

The passport is a cadet requirement, and the one week thing is a driver's license requirement. That's basically forcing them to become cadets. It's a good idea, but a little too strict in this case. I like the idea about them being explained how things work and giving them a test on their first day. :)

Maybe, if newcomer wants to play as cop and writes /duty, than he would get message what says to contact admin for Cop Rights.
So admin would explain them a bit and where they get help etc.

Well freecops should be treated with respect, they can potenitally be the future of the department. I remember when I was a freecop I would approch the door of the car I was pulling over and before I could say anything the driver would say "Hi, FREECOP". I would conduct my stop as normal but it still pissed me off  :)
A rank is a rank, wheter I be a Officer or Chief of the Department, we are all working for the same thing.

Yesterday I had a Freecop trying to pull over our SACS Ambulance which was on city patrol. He pulled him over for speeding (which the driver was not, but okay...benifet of the doubt). He then proceeded to suspect our medic for it. So instead of blowing up at the guy saying every curse word I could think of, and then some :D I PM'd the two gentlemen and explained what their purpose was as a Freecop, how they should have conducted that, and the webpage where they could read more.

Small things like that help in a big way, instead of getting angry just take the 5 to 7 minutes and help a fellow brother or sister out.
