Irony: people leave SAPD because of changes and play as ARPD officer, being directly at the command of the person whose actions made them resign.

As ARPD Officer, we can make "Division", which we cannot in SAPD. Therefore, we don't have choice.

As a SAPD Officer (or above)...  one of the first responsibilities you have is to lead by example. Everyone should look up to SAPD Officers in terms of respect, experience and skill and SAPD command should be selfless, responsible and provide guidance to the whole of SAPD.

And what I see, is quitting and giving up because of demotion of a rank or award or whatever.

Way to lead by example there guys... good message being given out.      So I'm thinking at the moment, if you left cause of this, then you most likely did not have the appropriate qualities or you had a bad attitude towards your rank.

But anyway. As a leader you should not work for yourself, you should work for everyone else in SAPD. So really I do not understand why everyone is so upset. Nothing has changed, you can still form SWAT groups, you can still lead - or are you scared you cannot lead unless you have a shiny rank?  :trust:

You can form groups as ARPD Officer, of course.
Very true..
1 year, 1 day of service in the SAPD.
Bye.

Rumours have in the future you will not have a choice at all.

Did all the people who complain about not being in formed read the topic 'incoming' ? If not, why do you not read important information. If you did , why do you complain about things not being announced ?

SAPD Was good before this changes, i want to see now, who will chatch the criminals, with no SAPD team, hard working guys who resigned...

Just because you worked your ass off to catch suspects do NOT justify the reason of removal / demotion.

And hey, look, just because you resigned the SAPD will be weakened and will be unable to perform? Well, think again mate :)

You do realize your impatient and immature acts won't get you anywhere and won't deal any type of damage?

I suppose if you look at it this way:

Within the SAPD you have command staff who may disagree with APD Commissioners...
by resigning, you leave yourself to the full force of the Commissioner!

No offence to Jaaskaa of course, I simply mean that if you don't agree with Jaaskaa, its safer to stay than go

Who answered to the C30 ? Who answered to the NRG's ? Who answered to the mass cop killers ? Who answered to the Code Purple ? Who saved other officer's life during months ? Obviously not you.

Again with the narcissistic comments. You (the people who decided to resign) were not, and never will be, the entire organization.

Actually we can't disagree, whatever the ARPD Commissioners says, its an order towards us and we don't have any saying in it, we perform it even if we don't or we do like it.
Both ways you have to follow the ARPD Commissioner.

Correction, maybe you misunderstood. Presuming there was some kind of discussion...there is more people who could potentially try to talk with the Commissioner, who he is likely to listen to.

What the hell are you talking about? SAPD can't even stop a big C30/Bank Robbery/Kidnap without returning at least 3/4 times
Only team that could was SWAT under Ben's lead

Now Chase is commander of SWAT? What a joke, my gang of 8 friends back in early 2010 raped him and 20 other cops under his lead at FBI HQ when he was FBI he had to reutrn 3 times before any of us died

Get rid of the guys who actually do work, who can actually take down criminals and replace them with my friends, very good

The funny thing is....

Previous SAPD Officers who resign because they want to become ARPD Officers still work under Jaaskaa as he's an ARPD Commisioner.
You create new groups are you still working under Jaaskaas' lead, either if you like it or not.

By resigning are you only damaging your self, Jaaskaa still have the decision about you as an ARPD Commisioner.

Epic fail is an epic fail..

You can disagree and placve objectiojns. There has been room given to do this, and the objections which were presented have been weighed. Once a decision is taken, we expect to act as a team.
